So cool I love doing a jig saw puzzle every year at Christmas time. 🧩🎄

Thanks for the vid, great comp. It would be great if we could see the names of the players more clearly for those not familiar. Thanks.

I dont get it. In round 5, at around from the 2:50 hour mark, Marketa finishes at around 42:25 and Lina finishes at around 42:29. The results though have Lina finishing at 42:29 but Marketa is 42:44? Was there a 2 piece time penalty?
@asuwannabe20152 ай бұрын
i'm rewatching these again and i forgot how cRAZY of a finish the first round was. at 2:13:25 you can see karen's hand is off the table and they're still looking on the floor for the piece but the 10 seconds hadn't ended for the polish team yet so their final time was actually the time they put it in the puzzle so they lost which SUCKS

Almost all the children were in Pairs B, so that’s why there was the unicorn, to make it fun for them and give them the best chance of finishing/doing as much as possible. That’s why it wasn’t in the last session of the day and the purple one was even though the latter was not at all suited to the low light.

I love how sardonic Jan is in the Round C commentary.

2:52:29 She’s actually from Bermuda but it’s not independent so she would have had to have represented the U.K. and didn’t want to. She represented Barbados because her father was from there. She lives in Denmark and is an English teacher like me. In the next round I was the one that gave them the heads-up that they could finish in an hour and then, with an exciting scramble for missing pieces after taking a pause with what they thought was the final one, they finished on 59 minutes 59 seconds.

2:45:01 I think this must be Alfonso’s brother and niece, as the man shared both of his distinctive surnames and the girl the first one. It’s me in the straw hat clapping. I was sitting next to and chatting to the older lady for much of this round, whom I think must have been the mother/grandmother.

I love the Olympics and Paralympics, and went to the Paralympics in Paris on the way to Valladolid. All sports in the winter games involve ice or snow.

2:03:00 Charlie’s right that Google Translate is poor but I think DeepL is better than ChatGPT. (I’m also an English teacher and linguist. I actually assumed he wasn’t as there are so many English mistakes in the materials, which I don’t blame Alfonso for at all but thought would have been corrected if he were friends with an English teacher.)

I was sitting next to the commentators’ table when Wiktor said that he was a student in Cracow and wanted to shout out that I used to live there, so I’ll say it here instead!

I only arrived for the first individual quarter-final, as the train from Madrid was much cheaper then. I thought this would just be one or two teams at the hotel. I’d’ve gone in tune to watch it had I realized.

Is it just me, or is it unfair that the faster Puzzlers get their own table and are able to put their trays of pieces on the blue part of the table whereas the rest of the teams are crammed with someone else and have No spare room. Should be the same for everyone.

1:26:00 She is talking about protecting kids... From what? Young teens win Olympic medals and complete in full contact state championship football. It seems like they don't want to deal with the kids I think.

We need more videos and clips from WjF! 😊 amazing amazing people and content, but I believe we need to see this broken down into a series of clips and shorter videos so people can watch and understand something they’ve never seen before. More palatable- cheers! Zak
