My late father was on that train and features quite a lot in the post closure railtour fotos out there, he was then but a lowly grade A signalman or still a box boy not sure but he went on to become the most passed out signalman on British Rail. He spent his retirement years working for Swanage Railway and have fond memories of visiting him at Harman's Cross signalbox with my very young daughter who got more than a few "lap" rides from the DMU drivers with me at the secondman's seat.

Ironically, my father at grade C became relief based jointly between Tonbridge and Cuxton covering the Medway line and often he would find himself at Paddock Wood in later years, he also practically rebuilt Snodland and Cuxton boxes singlehandedly in between train duty and installed Snodland's flushing toilet cos me mum refused to use the "thunder box" due to masses of spiders... Local Snodland star Ted Hughes aka Judge Dread christened the loo as he would often wander in and mump tea off me father... My father became a legend in that regard too, he was never ever seen without a lit rollie or mug of dark brown tea leading to his nickname "fag and tea Keith" on Swanage.

I used to travel to school on trains on this branch line. In some occasions, the old gentleman with the bowler hat used to let school children sit in the first class carriage with him, as the train never had enough seats for us all. If we missed the bus at Hawkhurst Station it would mean a 2 Mile walk home to the other side of the village. A very long day for children.

My daughter had a load of mushroom compost delivered last week. Her neighbors honeybees are swarming it. Not sure what the attraction is. They are definitely interested in one area of the pile. Not yellow jackets. These are definitely her neighbors honey bees.

Myleene, pianist, (Class!)Klass. This woman has a TONS of Talent:) My wife knows her (Asian), Mom, also a nurse:)She comes from a very musical well known Austrian British family. (her Dad)She's worked hard to be where she is today, worth 12M to14M pounds, she did it, her way, as Francis Alberts (Frank Sinatra!)the song concluded:)

Would be good for her return but now how dr who has changed I dont think it would work because how freema played Martha she a brilliant actor but that character with that vibe was all great now it would be feasible dr who had 2 sides to it a child like side and more of a human side to the story that spoke to the audience how everyone idealised the doctor and the impotence of these relationships turned into a army heart breaks disappointments also happy and even exciting moments all these within the alien war universe made it work so well and it was great. But when there switched to a more light hearted more kiddy like vibe alot of the older audience of dr who fell off becusse that element was gone Matt Smith is great as well completely brought a more fun but and serious tone to the story but after that it fell off turned so kiddy that alot of the fan base was like what's next nothing to bring in the more mature audience the actors are great but there dont controle the story the writers do and heres my business brain on 1. Understand who the hell you writing to what's there emotions what there like or dislike what there resonate with with this audience who resonates with this and that how can you make a entertaining movie or TV show and speak that keeps them engaged and speaks directly to there emotions that there fall in love with the story and the characters. I should write this story lol

I now have a swarm of honey bees in my turnable compost barrel. This is the first time I've seen or heard of this in years of composting. I don't see a hive and the bees don't seem to be interested in anything in particular. Unfortunately it seems the "experts" already knew everything about bees years ago and this has never been studied because the only information on the internet keeps mentioning that they are probably yellow jackets instead, like we don't know the difference between a honey bee and a wasp FFS. So, what did you do? Did the bees go away on their own? Were they building a hive?

It's really sad seeing all these people putting a negative comment and showing all this hate. I'm a great Queen fan, and I know how hard it is for us to accept someone else singing what we usually protect and love like an untouchable thing, which is our beloved Freddie that has passed away. But, to be honest, I think he'd be delighted about this performance. Open your heart people, we're all humans in a world, why should we deny she has a talent and this is a great performance, just because Freddie is Freddie. You know what I'm talking about. He'd say "there must be more to life than this..."

I love how passionately she is playing this piece, so full of emotion and love for the music. She played lovely, pure savoring of the moment. I think myleene played with her heart and let herself feel the piece, she may have been nervous but she's on TV. It takes a pro to not be nervous, even they admit they are at times nervous. Give her a break, she did amazing. Well done!

+Erin Knudsen Myleene Klass is certainly full of something, but you've been taken in my dear. She's selling a posh celebrity image by using classical music. It looks impressive, and represents a career path she failed to achieve, so she pretends. Look closer. A power cord from backstage to the piano. And she has tried to hide something from view that is so large the lid refuses to close. It's the sound recording no doubt, making it appear the music comes from her "passionate" play-acting. She appears quite foolish after we see what is actually happening. Genuine career musicians dedicate their lives to perfecting their art and deserve respect, not degradation by this mockery. They have a host of names for Myleene Klass in the business, and I know absolutely no one who considers this charlatan a musician. Someone with an authentic passion, emotion and love for music will one day arrange for everyone to learn what the professionals have long known.
