Diep ontroerend

My name is Francis. I live in Boston, Massachusetts in New England on the East Coast of the United States of America. I don't know why or how this video came on my feed, but it did. I can't read Dutch (?). But I can see that Bram (if I may be allowed to use his first name) has died a very untimely death. I saw a bit of the memorial service and it's clear this young man was deeply loved by family and friends of whom he had MANY. He must have been quite a young man. He certainly was handsome and talented. I don't know the circumstances of his death. I think it may have been illness (?). Unimportant really. But his loss to his family, his parents, his handsome brothers especially the youngest, is a very bitter pill to swallow. I know. I lost a dear one last summer much too soon under horrifying circumstances. My heart aches for you. Scripture teaches us that length of life is unimportant. It is the quality of the years that gives life its meaning and significance. By that standard, Bram had a life that matched his remarkable smile. Now his smile and music, deprived to this place, decorates the Kingdom of Heaven. And it's not fair to us. Because WE need them more than Heaven does. But our faith teaches us that in the end, He, Who is Mighty, will make it all well and we shall understand. In the meantime, an anonymous new friend far away who can feel your hurt sends you, for what it's worth and any good it may do, all his sympathy, empathy, compassion and love as a fellow human who can imagine your pain. GOD LOVE YOU. Eternal rest grant to Bram, oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May He rest in peace. May his good and decent soul, along with all the souls of the faithful departed, through the tender mercies of a loving God, rest in peace. May the Angels lead him to paradise and comfort those who mourn him.
