The transfer station here in Las Vegas NV is completely different. The trucks are up on a platform and the garbage falls down into a pit. Customers can come in and dump large items like couches and large debris like concrete chunks. No need to stand outside of a gate to film. The larges landfill in the world is also just outside of Las Vegas that Republic owns. It is good for the next 250 years. It is massive, miles across in the middle of the dessert in a canyon. I was there often 2002-2008. Guarded 24/7

Not fond of the rebranded Consolidated trucks, but from the looks, the truck caught fire. So the sign board was probably wasted. Still a decent amount of light blue Consolidated trucks. That’s just epic
