+Daniel Bertazzon If you wanted action, you could have always watch Star Wars when you were a child. Sorry but Star Trek always used to be (regardless of what it is now) about thinking things through, and preferably diplomacy before fight. Sometimes in the midst of DS9 and in VOY it changed to more action, but TOS and primarily TNG were diplomacy "crap" and nobody forced you to watch it.

When I was a kid and had an inkling for action, I watched SW, as a teenager, I watched SG1. When I wanted limited action and slow pace scifi, I watched Star Trek. I have my opinion on the reboots and you correctly guessed it. But I am slowly learning to go the Picard's peace way (not adapt, I will probably never like the new Trek, but I don't throw it to other's faces). Your comment however refered to your past. A past when there was no JJTrek and the choice was ST or SW. If you wanted action you could have watched SW. That you did not and just wished STTNG was more action like - well that was your decision. You have got your wish now with the TOS movies, perhaps you will get it with the upcoming series, but there was no action Trek then. Each TV show (not just Trek) has some premise and the premise of TNG was peaceful exploration and diplomacy (and reflection of late 1980's and early 1990's socio-cultural problems solved by the peaceful Star Trek way), simple as that. Thats what I have not understood from your comment. Why wish for the variation of an existing sci-fi show you would like to have (and you have it now) if there were other shows closer to your liking (perhaps you don't like The Force or Goa'ulds, I don't know and I don't judge you). I hope I make sense now what I am getting at.

look I am not trying to be a bad Guy I am just very Frustrated, people online was vey Frustrating they are so against the new trek when they should be like the Borg and Adapt, there like Don't give up keep fighting back lets overthrow Abrams and new Star Trek don't quit keep fighting, what a horrible behaviour these people have it is new Star Trek people stop trying to Destroy it.

I can undestand. You really like the new Trek, feel this is how Trek should have been all along. We on the other hand feel differently. That is both our opinion and speaking for myself, I think we can both agree it will probably not change. Your Borg analogy though is not very wise, be careful, because from our (shall we say the Conservative's) POV, JJ can be seen the Borg trying to assimilate us and add our cultural distinctivness to his own. If I may suggest, I think it would be better to use IDIC analogy - Vulcan philosophy of Infinite Diversities in Infinite Combinations - 21st century is the time of exploring the "more action combination of Star Trek diversity". Anyway, peace and long life PS. Try not to blow up your fuse so often, not everyone wishes to attack your ideas, even if I am from "the opposing camp", I was merely curious about that previously mentioned childhood decision of yours to watch ST while wishing for action.

@@crazycappy01 I think the jj enterprise is ugly as f--k. Some like it, and that's ok, everyone's entitled to their own opinion. My favorite "new" Enterprise is from Discovery. The original is my number one. Probably for nostalgic reasons. LLAP everyone.
