Welcome to London. I really enjoyed watching this. Just one question why were you in a rush to buy? Surely when moving to a new place it makes more sense to rent. Learn what you're looking for in a neighborhood by actually living in the city. Then buy when you definitely know which neighborhood ticks all your boxes. Surely buying without doing so could lead to an expensive mistake? Maybe you've lived here before so were able to skip those steps? Anyway best of luck and thanks for taking us along on your journey.

I would be curious to see what your experience is building community in the UK. As someone who grew up in the Baltics, living in Oxfordshire has made me redefine connection and what it means to show up your your friends in a lot of ways, not all of them good. London is, of course, a microcosm of its own (+ my experience was warped by lockdown), but I hope you're able to acclimatise without having to face such existential challenges. ; D Best of luck x

As far as I know, that lavender blush is more for highlighting. I remember seeing in Korean tv shows that these types of shades are used to brighten the cheek area and give the illusion of transparent skin, like children with very clear skin have. It's meant to look youthful and bright, not like a visible color. I bought one in Korea years ago (they have so many), and I always use it that way. I then pair it with a glowy pink blush on the apple of my cheeks and it looks so pretty. I recommend maybe using the YSL one on top of your cheeks, and then the other one to add color.
