I just purchased their first book and started reading it yesterday, after watching this interview I am even more excited about learning this art. Thanks Diana for sharing this interview with us. I know it was recorded 2 years ago. But, until recently I had never seen portrait quilts. I am so excited to have found this.

I took a 6 hour shibori class from Cindy and it was trememdous. A couple of years later I had a problem and she kindly answered my plea for advice. She's super!

As a South African quilter living overseas I thoroughly loved listening to Odette talking about her quilting and other South African quilters - we're lucky to have such a rich heritage of other cultures to draw from and I still have heaps of African fabrics I love using. Thank you!

I love her patterns like the witch and Santa are amazing and I love that she does the faces if you don't want to do it yourself.

I have taken two classes with Phyllis and Cindy. They give so much information, so much help. I have made 3 portrait quilts so far and one animal portrait quilt with their help and I love it so much! Thank you for interviewing them and for their dedication to sharing their gifts with others all around the world! I currently live in Abu Dhabi and these ladies made a special zoom class for several of us in this time zone.

Thank you for sharing this information. I love your taste in patterns, and it's helpful to see the drape of various yarns when worked up.
