I live in Walker Co and it’s been 30 years since I’ve seen quail. We have plenty of cracker box houses being built on what was once good farm ground though.

Yes you can bring your own pole. I am unsure if you can jig but on the website it says you can also bring your own bate. I would just ask before I tried because there isn't a lot of room to cast.

That dead deer will not affect other deer . Have shot one and let it lay and literally has others come check it out and feed right next to it. They die in the wild of natural causes all the time. It's nothing new for them .
