I love this, it's great! I have a question. I've always wanted to do this but afterwards should I frame it in glass? Or is it okay to leave it open? I wonder will the blood attract ants or bugs? And I notice the consistency of blood changes after a while. Does it have to be fresh?

Title is misleading,that is "smokeless" powder being used. Gunpowder,or "black powder",burns faster and smokier. It can be made into a paste with water or alcohol,and painted with,then ignited and filmed.
