I lost a sale recently because of this. A lady told me she was being charged $13 extra as a buyer protection fee. I had no idea what she was talking about. Thank you for this information!

I had a $15 sale and with the 20% fee I would have received $12, instead I received $11.69, so depending on the price of the item, shipping cost and sales tax you can make less. Someone made a comment in a KZbinrs chat that any sale between $15 and $18 can actually give you less net earnings. Funny how the examples Posh gave didn’t mention that.

Yup and like Kami mentioned, the net profit is unpredictable mostly because they're using sales tax to factor the fee. All states have different amount of sales tax and some dont even have it.

dog toys...we had pit bulls and rotties for decades...they never totally destroyed stuffies. We now have a very senior pit bull and two french bull dogs, 3 and 18 months...the ONLY thing they can not destruct is the "tuff toys" sold at pet smart...dont buy the ones with "appendages"...but we have tuff toys brands that are well over 2 years old and still perfect, washed a couple times a month , try as they will...all still intact. Well worth the money. Our frenchies can even destroy water buffalo horns in a week...deer antlers (what we used for years) barely a month..Im so over stuffies, but my lifer (husband of 44 years calls us lifers) loves to buy them . Sadly, our chickens are even more destructive..but they do pay rent daily...soooo

I find vuori consistantly at our salvation army...they have no clue...I go on half price, monday for seniors, wednesday for everyone, vuori sweat pants are 4.99 BEFORE the 50% off...just sold a bundle of two mens medium for $50...tees dont fetch as kmuch, but clearly well worth the price...have found two pair of womans sweats in XS and they are in MY closet..the other size womans sweats always go for about $30 ..once you find a pair, you will always find them...its the feel, and the teeny tag on the left pocket...

the patagonia "neck thing"...us southern folk call them gaitors...keeps your neck warm...but long enuogh to pull up over your face when needed. we collect them...yes, we are still nerds in our 60s

The only one I disagree with , and maybe I have just have good luck selling it, is mountain hardwear. I have found a few pieces in the last few months and always sells basically instantly.
