I just posted but it does not seem to appear here so I will do another. I agree the songs are very good, good lyrics and yes, Ringo does a real nice job singing on this one. I think I prefer still his " Beaucoups of Blues" but I think I should give his new one a few more listens before I decide. The Cd comes with a booklet with the lyrics of course and all those photos you have plus another one not shown in your package. It also comeswith the liner notes in the booklet. @@ralph929 Ah yes, I stand corrected. I should have known that. I am not used to any color vinyl having that word added to the front of it. Usually any color vinyl is stated as just the color, without the need to also define it as opaque. Thank you for the correction.

(Tom here.) Great looking singles collection, Sir. Thank you for taking the time to show both sides of each Single as you narrate this video. I really loved your video you did a week or so ago where you went through each Beatles 45 with its Picture Sleeve and showed each one, front and back. That was a great and indept video. When is your next Singles video? Just curious. Take care, Sir. Oh yeah, thank you for wearing rubber gloves when handling these rare records. I wish more people doing rare records videos took the time to safeguard against fingerprints and dirt getting on their Beatle records!! (Tom)

I have a script for the next few months that will include a discussion of the various mainstream ‘Beatles Collection’ box sets, a show on ‘Fantasy picture sleeves’, and several in depth shows on the various U.S. and Canada singles labels (Tollie, Swan, Vee Jay, MGM, Atco, Capitol USA, Capitol of Canada and Oldies 45.

I love this set. I also have on this label the live Paris, live Houston, and the live Rome. All in great packaging like this set. These guys did it right on vinyl in the late 80s.

Hi Charlie. The "It Was More Than 20 Years Ago" moniker on the box set was used on many releases from Bulldog. They used it because in Europe it had become legal to publish live recordings that were more than 20 years old. In essence, those live recording became public domain. Not in the US, however. Yes, technically they are not bootlegs because they followed copyright law in Italy. I think it’s a nice set. I have seen more copies in black vinyl than green, so I thought I’d post this one.

Hi Charlie. Is that CD a silver pressed disc or a CD-R? WXPN was/is a radio station in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania under the auspices of the University of Pennsylvania. "Whiskey Flats" was the name of an original vinyl bootleg LP, "The Beatles Live at Whiskey Flats" which was the 1964 concert at Convention Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It actually was a number of years before it became generally known that the bootleg was from the Philadelphia concert. Thanks for another nice video. - Dave

@@PMC7027 Dave, this is definitely a CD and not a CDR. They seem to suddenly be widely available. I wasn’t sure if WXPN was a sponsor, or the source of the audio for the Philadelphia concert. I was aware of the original bootleg of this very same show. I have also seen bootlegs of the Vancouver show included here, and both shows have suddenly become popular again, turning up in various forms. The connection to recent marketing activities related to 1964 has also helped bring these concerts back to prominence.

Hy Lit a local Philadelphia DJ for WIBG IN Philly brought the Beatles to the Convention Center on 9/2/64. The original recording came from Hy Lit. I have no idea what the U of P WXPN Has to do with the Philly gig.

The darkness box are the holy grail of let it be outakes watching rainbows by John Lennon classic should be released, and tons of unfinished beatle songls debut teddy boy isn't it a pitty and child of nature / jealous guy and common wealth glad I git it on ebay! Cheers made my Christmas

"Coming Up" is the studio version on your set. That's what's on the UK album, the live one was on the US version.

The UK double album also has Once Upon A Long Ago which was the latest single release to coincide with the albums November 1987 release. Was a great year for albums. Cloud Nine from George Harrison and Got My Mind Set On You was released around the same time.

And IIRC, the Japanese double LP of All the Best contains “Maybe I’m Amazed”, which definitely wasn’t included on the US 2LP or CD versions.

Great Christmas gifts especially the one your wife made you. That 3D is awesome. My grandson gave me a drawn and colored picture of my two sons him and me crossing the Abbey Road crosswalk in 2022. I'll post it if you think it's ok.

Wow real nice haul ! Love that framed item your wife made -so talented ! I got a few things thanks to my sister n law who always comes up with some nice items. We always get a Beatles calender from her and a homemade ceramic item she does- this time I got this ceramic plate with a Yellow Submarine that she painted ! I got a welcome mat one side says " I say Hello" and the other side "You say goodbye" with the Abbey Road crossing and their silhouettes. You are amazing and I so admire you and your collection. From one Beatles fan to another-- Happy 2025 and happy Beatles collecting !!!! Catch you on your next video !! Oh i also wanted to say we had plans to go to the fest in March -would be our first one in years as we used to go every year when in Seacaucus N. J. We cancelled the hotel and decided to, and got booking for London later in the year. Too bad as we could have met you but if you would and you probably know my friend, Jude Southerland Kessler who authors the wonderful John Lennon Series, it you happen to see her say hello for me. Hi Howard. I happen to have that Hello Goodbye doormat too. Got it as a gift a few years ago. I too used to go to Secaucus almost every year. ‘24 was at JFK because of the 60th Anniv. ‘23 was in Jersey City and back there in ‘25. I am sure Jude will be there - she’s been there pretty much every time I’ve been there. I am hoping to do a show from there this year. I will only be there on Saturday though.

I have a combination of both “Ultra Rare Trax” & “Unsurpassed Masters” series. With bootlegs being what they are, I find I prefer a mixed salad of recordings, liking some material and not caring that much for others.

These were nice back in the day, but today I'd FAR rather have the 12-disc Expanded Beatles Anthology. More comprehensive, way better track selection and much better sound quality. Plus the packaging is great.
