Hello, I love your chain! Your turtle family is adorable 😍 it’s amazing how big they are. I also have a 2 year old turtle, her name is Daisy 🌼 she’s very cuddly, it’s a Hermanni Boettegeri turtle. I dream one day to make her a huge garden like yours, their house is too well done 🤩 have a good day 🙂

What beautiful family !!!❤🐢🐢🐢💕💞. You said that she's a spur thigh tortoise. For some reason, I thought spur thigh tortoises were only Sulcatas. She looks like an Eastern Hermann's. Do spur thighs relate to other species as well ? I'm new to the tortoise world, so I'm still learning and I'm curious.🤔

Hi, thanks for your comment. My tortoises are Greek Spur Thighed tortoises, Testudo Graeca Ibera. Sulcatas are African Spurred tortoises. It is confusing. Spur thighed can look like hermann's but they have a couple of differences. The most obvious one being the little spurs on their thighs. I hope this helps 🐢

Was Maisie the only egg that hatched? What happened to the other babies? Were they adopted by others ?

@@jocelynharris-fx8ho Yes, she is. Two were infertile. The other three didn't develop full term. So just our Maisie. Erica has laid more eggs since but we don't incubate them as there are already lots of tortoises needing new homes 🐢

The BEST home I’ve seen for any tortoise! Automatic doors? Love the brushes & different places to roam. Lights, heaters, water places, hiding nooks, a camera. So many ideas. I have 3 tortoises that I’m always trying to do things to improve their lives. Thank you for this video. Also, nice editing!

I wanted to let you know, and I'm not making this up, but I listen to a radio talk show host/ podcaster on Salem network and his name is Charlie. Ironically his wife's name is Erica. They have a young daughter but I don't know her name. Thought that you might like that fun fact. 😃
