Left greece a decade ago. Best decision i made in my life. Most bright and above average individuals has left the country, and is becoming a 3rd world shithole, stuck into deflationary infinite debt loop depression for 15years. Take a look at naxos' airport, it's like a cheap airbnb without even AC. (Tourism is the main industry of greece allegedly, especially on the islands and they don't even do the bare minimum). The sad part is the greeks in the comments defending such 3rd world soviet infrustructure, with signs from the 60s. It's either cognitive dissonance, or simply being "greek" (they just hate criticism because of the propaganda that greeks are lazy (which is false ofc), but truth is that greece is highly corrupt similar to countries like Ukraine).

I've been to HER this summer, and i must say i've never seen a worse airport. Extremely overcrowded, old, and you reminded me of the loud announcements!!

Actually this does not even touch on the hideousness of this airport. Unless you have been there, best not to comment. Millions spent essentially on a new duty-free. Female toilets without locks on doors, no soap dispensers. Passengers waiting airside for too long with the high decibels of departing aircraft surely damaging the ears of babies/children. How this airport will cope with the introduction of EES in the coming months? Staff generally are harrassed but probably not valued and definitely not customer-oriented. Shame as so not Cretan. BTW I use this airport 4-5 times per year. Suggest routing through Athens and using Sitia in the east if travelling from Elounda eastwards for a less stressful and more pleasant experience . Sure there are worse places but this is a major holiday destination!!😢

Berchdesgarten is a cool little town. Sure, we went to the eagles nest but Hitler and NAZIS were the last thing on our mind as we strolled around. Sadly, we did not get to Lake Eibsee but we could see it and it looks beautiful. That "bad boy" Hitler had good taste in mountains.

Funny thing is that the video shows a decent, 3 star place and in fact is encouraging to book it ;)

I used the lounge June 2024, unfortunately it was pretty crowded (I was stuck sitting at a bench with a tiny table for my friend and I to share- the one you can see on the left side at 1:08). I was there on a Saturday- late morning to early afternoon. There is another lounge available for priority pass members- it had more food options, less crowded, but furniture & decorations were not as nice as the aviator lounge. I liked the snack food better in the aviator lounge compared to the other one.

Much nicer than the Frankfurt Hbf station. Beautiful view of the cathedral from inside the station too!

Well, yes, its crowded and an airport you probably just wanna use to embark and disembark from your flight. Thats because lots of tourists heading to Kreta. Tip: Eat and drink before heading to this airport. Just be there no longer then needed. Thats definitely NOT like Changi airport but if you know this, you may lower your expectations accordingly before heading to Kreta.

I absolutely love small airports as so cozy and easy to move about and yet again this looks wonderful, our favourite small airports have been Kaunas in lithuania and pristina in kosovo , very nice airports . We both finish work early on a Thursday so o decided to hit your channel , loving it my friend 👍

What a lovely hotel and the place myself and wife would love , we hate chained hotels as most of them are soulless, this has such a nice independent feel to the place , beautiful and when you opened the door I said to the wife wow that’s very nice
