Game 3 you can freely play the succumb in response to the face purgatory trigger before you have to discard it, get an action point and crack in with flail before closing the chain to either force an extra block or end on an extra runechant for free

You're so right! I'm not sure why I didn't see or choose to do that, especially considering it was on a wail so losing the malefic chant to flail wouldn't have mattered. Good catch, not sure what was goin through my head there!

@@hunterelf not really too much, just sacrifices a few pieces of equipment and room to bring in sideboard cards in favor of hand consistency

@nikobrufab the Aurora high rolled the hell out of me lol. I wanted to dodge you like crazy, I was all aggro no disruption. Your succumb to temptations would have eaten me alive. The side of the bracket i wanted to face was Nuu, Boltyn, Enigma, or DIO haha

@@joshuahburkhart9733 Very understandable, I just go in with max disruption into Vis like I would the rest of the aggros. Luckily Aurora balanced her highroll into you with a horrible lowroll into me, so I got my vengeance

@nikobrufab Good shit. Their turn 2 had 4 cards + arsenal. Started with flicker wisp fuse CLV, play clv from hand and clv from arsenal, draw 2 and deal 2 arcane. Then played arc lightning, deal 2 arcane, arcanic Shockwave 4 physical + 4 arcane, break chest pice for 2 resources, 2 arcane, crack gold and draw, 2 arcane, activate grasp, 2 arcane, swing sword, 4 arcane 2 physical. Then got to arsenal a sigil of Suffering that dealt me a damage and drew another card on my turn from clv. Nice

Right now I'm just thinking Runic Reckoning, a few more blues to more often have one when I need one, and maybe Reduce to Runechant. Though, the meta could shift with his introduction to lighten the load in other areas.

@@aburkitt11 currently nothing special, just working on overloading damage and punishing their inability block. Try and kill them before they can get far on the CYB plan

Thanks! For my equipment I'm using dragon shield blood red sleeves with their clear outers, and for the rest of my deck I am on the new Summer Cloud Katana sleeves. All of my cards have dragon shield inners.

I had a couple of questions: 1. What do you think of Runeblood barrier? It generates 4 runechant tokens, so with an eloquence, you can pretty easily runegate out something afterwards, plus it gives some additional options like being a target for deadwood dirge, or even as a defensive layer for a turn. 2. I’m looking into trying something similar to this deck but not really ready to spend several hundred on equipment. I figure ebon fold for head, and aether ironweave for chest, budget options, but then what for boots? I was thinking sutcliffes, mage master boots, or dance of darkness, but not sure which.

In our playgroup, we thought the bloodrot token etc are controlled by your opponent. Were we wrong about this?

If I understand you correctly, then yes I do believe your group is mistaken on this. Any of the ranger/assassin cards that create these harmful auras create them under the opponent's control, leaving them open to getting eaten by Dirge.

This was done on Tabletop Simulator, if you search "Flesh and Blood" in the steam workshop for the game you should find the IanTCG mod I use

@@razielsghost6108 honestly, no! That’s not a bad idea, but it would just be such a feelsbad to play ever. Envelop is fine into enigma as clearing a ward board is never really that hard and you’re not too pressured to block once a miragai hits the board. Also envelop is the literal only 1 cost so tunic is pretty available

I could have! In fact, I did banish 3 earth cards in my second decompose, just mistakenly marked 4 earth cards in banish, so on my third decompose I decided to take only 2 instead of 3 as (I though) it wouldn't make any difference and I would rather have my grave stocked as much as I can given the choice

On auroras second or third turn when playing the current funnel after the entwine lightning it wouldn’t have go again because entwine lightning isn’t lightning and current funnel requires you to have a lighting card played last

some sweet early gameplay! Still my biggest issue with building florian is reaper feeling useless for the entire game -.- How come you are on that headpiece? i was under the impression that getting cards into the graveyard is the goal of florian not taking them out 🤔

@@razielsghost6108 I’m sadly considering reaping, though chunking in for 4 and 4 with seeds into reaper is pretty good. The headpiece is just AB, as Aurora doesn’t have many on hits or disruption nor card draw nor tall attacks, and the rest of my equipment suite is fairly locked in, I wouldn’t activate the ability ever.
