I assume Meta will probably make an advertising division like Vidsy or something similar and people will be able to help through it. Most probably Spark creators undercharge and Meta probably wants to charge clients more and get the bigger cut out of that.

After exporting, will it still look spherical (flat) when you click on the mp4? Does it need to be in a software/platform in order to look like the normal 360 interactive video or can it look full as it's own mp4 file?

As it stands, the existing effects should remain available for use, but it seems that creators will not have the ability to create new ones. Personally, I've developed several filters that have been popular among users, yet the platform doesn't offer compensation for creating these filters. Given this, it might not be worth investing time in learning or developing new filters. This change is likely to be disappointing for many creators who have dedicated significant time and effort to crafting complex filters.

That's so crazy... I wonder if they'll hire an in-house team to keep making filters. But ig only the big players would ever be able to afford branded filters from them. This is so lame of them lol. Ahhh :/ oh well

Literally just finished my first Spark AR effect last week, first the Android links break, then this. I'm sorry the entire Spark AR creative community got caught in the crossfire with me and the cursed gods :D. I really hope they address this more at Connect 24 and layout a clear vision for creators. As much as it is really awesome to have a huge platform to easily distribute these effects on, I think phone based apps are the bipedal apes in terms of XR evolution, and Meta is going to focus on AI / mixed reality, especially the Ray Ban avenue. The writing was kind of on the wall when they shutdown the Spark ads platform. I absolutely believe Zuck is still committed to the Metaverse idea, so not worried about that dying, though they can't spend infinite money on it, and I don't think it's really going to take off until the hardware / AI combination is ready. Will be interesting to see if they develop tools for AR glasses, or try to extend existing game engines.

2-years late...at 1:30 time, your video showed on screen a "Video2_Mat' file that appears to be a video placed on a spot on a sphere. Not wrapped all over the sphere. I cant find a way to place an mp4 on column without it wrapping over the entire thing, top and bottom. How do I place it and size an mp4 on a curved surface where I want it? Ive already pulled all of my hair out.

i can code buti am lost in those patchs. how would i make so that the animation plays, and then re-plays after some seconds?
