Somethings not adding up, round 2 says you should have 7 dc2tog and I end up with 6. First round said 14 stitches including the ch 3 at the beginning and I've started over 2 times.
@LittleHiveCrafts3 күн бұрын
Hi, yes the first round will have 14 stitches, so in the second round when you do dc2tog you’ll have 7 in the end. Second round starts with a ch 2 which DOESN’T COUNT: You then do DC2tog in the same stitch (as you did your ch 2 from) and the next, ch 2 and keep decreasing over subsequent 2 stitches with 2 in between. When you complete 6 dc2tog you will end up with one stitch in the end and ch 3 from the beginning of previous row. Decrease that last stitch and the top of the 3rd chain, that will be the 7th dc2tog. I have shown it in the video. Hope that helps. At the end of round 3 however there should be 25, there’s a typo there.

Hey thank you for pointing this out, sorry it wasn't mentioned - Ch 3 (doesn't count as a stitch), 12 DC into the centre of the ring you just made, slip stitch to the top of the 1st DC. Totally 12 stitches in the end of this round. Hope this helps.

Simple hack to sharpen scissors ✂️ Make a few snips through aluminium foil and then try it again. Voila! If your ✂️ are slightly bigger, you’ll need to fold the foil in a few layers and cut through them a few times to sharpen. Please note - Always keep different ✂️ for different tasks. NEVER use your thread or fabric scissors to cut cello tape or sticky tapes, or milk packets (Those cannot be set right by the foil hack). #scissors #fibreartist #diyhacks #littlehivecrafts #diy #handwork #embroidery #embroideryartist #crocheter #knittersofinstagram #crochet #knitting #macramé #asmrsounds #asmr #asmrvideo #everydayhacks #helpfultips #hacks #sewinghacks #instagramhacks #organizinghacks #crafthacks

I just finished mine and I love it. The only problem I had was attaching the flap, the stitch counts did not match so I had to decrease a couple of stitches. Thank you for the lovely pattern.
