Do you find you need a stand assist rope to stand up and sit down on this Kayak?

I personally never did. My buddy has the same boat and just last night was able to stand without an assist rope and hookset a fish while standing. It definitely is a comfort level thing. I’m more comfortable in the kayaks due to my time on the water.

@kmwalsh84 really depends on what you enjoy. If you are paddling I would definitely get something that you feel comfortable in. Crescent makes some of the best paddling boats out there. I recently picked up a Nucanoe Unlimited. Very comfortable boat and will use a motor with it the majority of the time. I recommend asking some people or nearby dealers if there are boats available to try and see what you like

I was really surprised how quickly I was able to get the fish lined up and get the bite! Granted I understand a little about how they were set up but it was pretty quick for your first fish
