If you look up close at . Cowboy done, It's not a straw it's a candy cane peppermint stick. He is chewing on. I noticed it. I saw the stripes on mine.

I just started buying some vintage TMNT again. I do remember having Chief Leo as a kid! I’m honestly really wanting to get all of the Wild West turtles at some point. Great video btw! I love hearing other collectors being passionate about toys I’ll definitely be subscribing.

Yeah Leo was a bit generic tho i do like Donnie being in the Man-At-Arms gear. I think Shredder looks pretty cool but youll have to telll me what u think next week 😉

Chief Leonardo was my favorite of the 4 but I’ve always gone with Leo so that’s just a me thing. Also, a word on the controversial Bandido Mikey, I don’t think kids thought too much about racial stereotypes back in the 90’s, they just played with toys. Back then, it wasn’t really offensive, because from what the kids saw in shows like Zorro and what not, bandidos kinda did look like that.

I think my fave turtle as a kid changed from week to week 😅 its only now as an adult i understand that its because even back then I saw part of myself in all 4 of their personalities. Imma be real Mikey was my fave outta this line as a kid and hes prolly my fave fig from Playmates that I own just for how absurd he is. And no i know we didnt think about racial stereotypes back then i think i was 5 or 6 when these came out and i just saw it as more costumed or disguised turtles.
