Well at $525k for a 19year old model that is very steep, even for a Morris Build. Kinda of a shocking asking price.

Probably cost close to $2mm if you got it as a one-off. $1.25 if new production? Not a huge haircut for depreciation but if it's aged well it could be a fair deal.

in the early 2000's I was lucky enough to have crewed on the DB for several years while she was in the San Juans of Wash state. Wish I had the $$$. At the time, she had $100k in sails

They usually put the price on whatever website the boat is actually sold on, that way they can lower it, as time passes and they don't have to edit the youtube. This is just a convenient site to upload videos to.

Sailed many times on Prufrock in the Hawaiian Islands. Best memory? Many years ago we had a local yacht claiming to be the fastest yacht in the state at the time... a Sydney 41. Tired of hearing the arrogant owner's mouth, we showed up on the starting line for the annual Lahaina, Maui to Waikiki, Oahu ocean race (the first race for the SC 52 in the islands... to the other's dismay). Downhill all the way. Needless to say... we finish well over an hour and a half ahead. Boat cleaned, sails put away, and a prime rib brunch in our stomachs. When the Sydney pulled in the harbor our stab was complete. We had pre-ordered crew shirts stating "Prufrock... first to finish Lahaina Return" and all our crew greeted them at the dock and helped them tie up. Loved sailing on Prufrock and I hope she went to a good home.
