This company is terrible. they restricted my account for absolutely no reason. I contacted them multiple times only to get a reply with from an automated email saying I'm allowed to host but I can't book which is the most rediculous thing I've ever heard and I spent thousands of dollars while with them, Stuff like this is the reason why they going down the drain.

I'm having problems with Turo. I rented a Tesla in May 2023 and one of the tires lost pressure. I was on a fast highway in a dangerous area. I stopped the car at risk of an accident and there were no spare tires or a pump to fill the tire. The car also didn't have run flat tires. The owner of the car didn't provide any support and I waited a long time for help. I almost missed my flight back. At the time I explained everything to Turo and I haven't heard back. Now, a year and two months later, Turo is charging me almost $270 for a flat tire. I have no technical proof that the tire was damaged and even so, it's Turo's fault for allowing a host to rent a car without a spare tire or a pump to fill the tire. Turo's serious failure. I will not pay this bill. I've explained this three times and they simply ignored me every time. I don't recommend anyone to use Turo.

Renting a car is no longer characteristics but a memorable experience and this do not mean that has to be a luxury or non-affordable own car, means that if I rent a Small, SUV or Sports car, what I'm looking for, is easy App to rent and return, and receive a vehicle that exceed my needs. Sometimes my needs could be only for move around the city, other times could be a family trip, or an adventure trip or even a deluxe experience. Customers want easy renting, easy payment, no problems and if there is a problem...a very fast and understandable solution to their needs. Way to go TURO!!

The entire turo system is flawed and racist. From the app to the customer support phone service and all the associates. The system they say flags accounts is purposely targeting African American accounts with extreme prejudice and hatred. They will “flag” your account with no warning, no email, no text and for no reason at all. What’s worse they do this to customers who have no violations, no infractions, no damages, no complaints, no fines, no nothing. With no warrant or merit or no mercy. It doesn’t matter if you are out of town or in the middle of no where they will block your account and then say they will either call you back or email you or chat but they never do. From experience the customer service reps on the phone are trained to lie to you. Any issue you bring to their attention is met with long hold times, reps that don’t understand your issues or reps that don’t have the tools to help you. Doesn’t matter what your issue is they will say you will need to contact the verification team or wait for them to contact you, which they never do. And the only way to contact them is thru chat or wait 12-24-48 hours for them to reach out to you which they never do. After spending thousands upon thousands as a guest and even hosting vehicles myself and with no infractions, no complaints, no damages to any vehicles or property, no laws broken, and while I was in the middle of a business trip out of town they blocked my account with no reason, no explanation whatsoever I mean just literally right out the blue. After countless calls and emails and chats and months of being meet with the same response “someone will reach out to you” I get an email saying my account is permanently gone. Turo is by far the worst company ever and this has to be stopped and addressed. This is a disgrace that a company you can support for years treat their customers like nothing. #StopTuro

Then he canceled my order without my consent and demanded that I pay a fine, it’s not clear why. In short, I lost a lot of my time, nerves, did not get the car and all the money.
