I have the exact same problem! Put a test ground wire on it temporarily and it fixed it. Now I have to find a ground. My fuse panel is slightly different. If I can't find it, I'll drill/tap/bolt to somewhere. THANK YOU for this video. J-

Thanks so much for your time making this video! Went to drive home last night and all I wanted to do was get home when a severe thunderstorm hit, and couldn't get my truck out of park. Stuck in a storm and couldn't move. Found another video and used it to get out of park so I could drive home. Found this video today with the same problem and was able to reattach the ground wires to some good metal, problem solved. Thanks so much!

OH MY GOD YOU JUST FIXED MY TRUCK IN UNDER 5 MINUTES!!!! I was stuck at a agas station for 20 mins not being able to shift out of park 30 miles from home then my ac stopped working and the lights went haywire, I finally made it home found your video and in 5 minutes my truck was fixed , I thought it was going to be the most expensive repair yet!! You are my hero I am stuck about an hour away from home I ended up taking my jumper cables clamping one side to the wire that was rusted out and then the other side of the jumper cable to the frame on the passenger seat until I got home-thanks for the video you are a lifesaver!
