Polka music actually originated in Czechoslovakia and in their beer gardens it is still played today. Germany also loves Polka music and bands in their beer gardens too! Poland loves Polka music as well. I think it is a European tradition now that has endured for years and will live on because it is so cheery and fun to listen to or dance to.

My father was a musician his entire life, he loved watching Mollie and Jim over the years so much. He passed in Feb, I wish we would have had the chance to see her live together. ❤

Mollie B and Ted Lange are hitting it and getting it as The First Couple Of Polka! And enjoying it! Way to go! They even did a Statler Brothers and Johnny Cash medley with help from Chad Busta (Mollie’s brother)! And they ended their gig with “Battle Hymn Of The Republic” and “God Bless America”! It does not get any better than this!

I didn’t know Ted Lange could sing! He sings great! He and Mollie B are fantastic together, on and off stage!
