I am loving your tea adventures so much!!!! <3 Do the scones qualify as London fog flavoured? I had a London fog cheesecake in Saskatoon that was divine, but a scone is far more my thing, I am going to try this thank you! Top tip for piping when it won't stick, pick the cake up and start the piping off with a bit more pressure into the cake. So, cake and cream are equal. So political ;-) Miss you <3

Thank you for the tip, I think I started to figure it out towards the end there... haha! I think a london fog scone would need to have more focus on the tea and have a vanilla glaze. These ones seemed to have a lot more lemon than I expected. Glad you are enjoying my forays into the kitchen.

Black tea is how the leaf is processed. Its bruised and let to oxidize for some time. Orange pekoe is a grade of tea. There is also orange pekoe green tea as well.

That's a good question! Because orange pekoe is a grade of tea, it can be black (or green as has already been suggested) and it is rated based on the quality and processing of the leaves.

For the macaroons, use the bottom of your mini muffin tray. Spray lightly with cooking spray then form your macaroon over the bottom. They will cook more evenly then you can peel them off instead of trying to lift them out

The cadence of presentation gives off theatre kid vibes, no shots I enjoyed and subscribed. After listening to -cooking issues with Dave Arnold, Tea with Dylan Rothenberg. It opened my mind tea personally, I like coffee & espresso, but needed red rose this morning feeling sore throat. Would you consider doing a video on Rooibos?

Thanks for watching, you're correct! I was absolutely a theatre kid, although I always thought it was my projection that gave it away! Haha. I am planning on exploring Rooibos tea at some point in the future, as it is a blend I'm not familiar with.

Great stuff! Re: dry muffins, my suspicion is too long in the oven. Like cookies, I’ll take muffins out a bit before they look browned - they’ll continue to cook for a bit once you take them out. Cheers!

Agreed! I did try and do some conversations from the imperial measurements in the recipes... but gave up when my hands were covered in dough. haha. And I am slowly gaining the kitchen tools I need to succeed... the scale will come eventually. :)
