This is a massive load of scientific claptrap, for a number of reasons. The obvious first one is that there is no oxygen anywhere near a black hole, let alone at the edge of the event horizon, so lighting anything is entirely impossible. Secondly, the edge of the event horizon is actually past the blackness of the hole itself. At the edge of the event horizon, the entire universe would be invisible to you, and you wouldn’t even be able to see the flames should you break the laws of physics to have it there and light it. Finally, the only way to be at the edge of the event horizon without immediately being pulled in and spaghettified, would be if you were orbiting the black hole at an extremely fast speed, making such an experiment even more impossible to observe. This is like saying that if you stood at the gates of heaven and lit fireworks made of cheese, that St Peter would let you skip the line and get into Valhalla. The scenario is built on a foundation of faulty premises.

The way to colonize Venus is to design a structure which floats in the habitable zone of the atmosphere, high above the cauldron of the surface.
@SantanuMajumdar4 күн бұрын
Exactly! Floating cities in the upper atmosphere of Venus could be the key-where temperatures and pressures are more manageable. It’s still a huge challenge, but the idea of ‘a cloud city’ is definitely one of the more promising concepts! 🛸🌩️

I thought that Jupiter would transform into a star and ingolf the outer planets and inner planets but no i guess
@SantanuMajumdar6 күн бұрын
That’s a cool thought! 🌟 Jupiter has a lot of gas like a star, but it’s missing the mass needed to trigger nuclear fusion. So, no star transformation for Jupiter-at least not yet! 😅

It would cause increase temperatures. Solar panels do NOT absorb all the energy of the sun thus it heats the area around them. Leave nature alone

You really don't understand the science An anti matter bomb would remove matter causing an implosion, not explosion The water would then rush in to fill it
@SantanuMajumdar13 күн бұрын
Good point! The science behind antimatter is wild. The idea of an implosion and the water rushing in is crazy to think about-definitely not your typical explosion scenario! 💥🌊
@InsaneHunter0114 күн бұрын
The Antimatter bomb would release temporary gamma ray radiation that would last maybe a few days at most. Thunder storms also release micro amounts of gamma ray radiation that lasts a few seconds to a few minutes. The toxicity of the gamma rays would be lethal then quickly dissipate to near nothing, after a week or so. But the mega tsunamis probably would not happen. The water would be pushed up out of the trench, and cause a series of smaller tsunamis that would ravage the whole pacific coast and wipe out some island nations.
@SantanuMajumdar13 күн бұрын
Wow, that’s some serious detail! 🌊💥 Sounds like it’d be catastrophic, but not quite the mega-tsunami scenario people might expect. The short-lived gamma radiation is fascinating too-nature has its own wild ways of releasing it! Thanks for breaking it down!
