After about 20 min, another guy came out told him to drop trailer, he then grinned and offered me the yard horse, I put it right in, the guy from the truck threatened me and was still screaming when I got into my truck and left.

Did you have to file your rings? I check all of mine, just to be sure they don't butt. Nice video for the new kids coming up. I'm 60 and been building for 45 yrs. ✌️ I have an 817 block that I just finished and a 509 block that is in a car but it had a Melling oil pump BREAK OFF. I replaced it with a toughneck from Moroso but now the poor thing looses oil pressure when put under load, so I built the 817 to replace it while I tear the 509 bottom end down for a look at the bearings to determine why it drops pressure only under load. We run them in a mid 80's old Z28 and they perform very well for street use (and quite the sleeper) and occasional drag races at our closest track, an hour away. 👍

It would do you so much good TO STOP being an asshole, and simply offer to help...if you knew how...
@stevestowell-virtue378116 күн бұрын
The other driver's reaction would very likely be to reject any help and insult the cammer if he offered help. Truck driving schools provide a lot of instruction and practice backing. Evidently this driver can't learn. Is someone supposed to get out of their sleeper at 2:00 am at the truck stop and help him back into his spot too? This guy shouldn't be on the road.
@Shellipop16 күн бұрын
@stevestowell-virtue3781 RUBBISH...your reasoning predicates on a lot of suppositions SUGGESTING the driver WOULD reject help. Was help offered? You don't know he'd have rejected being helped. Would it not have been better to just offer help?Don't justify away "asshole-ism"
@stevestowell-virtue378116 күн бұрын
@ How well do most people you know respond to suggestions about their driving? Pretty much not one if they are like most people. So not so much predicated on suppositions as 65 years of life experience. My statement that the driver couldn't learn after hours of practice with an instructor is not a supposition nor was my comment that he would need someone to get out of their sleeper to back him in at the truck stop. This guy has no business on the road.
