Well, there have been stick fighting traditions all over the world. In Ireland you have/had the tradition to carry a stick (Shillelagh) so they will have used this stick in the past to fight. I would address that as "Irish Stick FIghting". I also would argue right the other way round, there seem to be many versions of Irish Stick FIghting.
