Thank you and no not at all. After a while you develop an idea for how you want to edit without much thought. It also depends on how much edits you want to put in the video and I wouldn't say that my videos are edit heavy. Plus there are short cuts that you can create for yourself.

Nice vid. I'm looking forward to my flight with MAX 8 on Wednesday. Just one question. I was always wondering what the black smoke above the wing is. Is it some oil vapour, or is it caused by something in the air?

@CptStarGazerAviation 9:33 - 9:50. Maybe it's just a shadow of some vapours, not a black smoke (I'm sure there is nothing burning 😂). But I saw it many times due to takeoff and never asked what causes these "streams of a smoke " or how to describe it.

@@malving8912 Oh, that is just the air/airflow over the wing. Sometimes upon takeoff or during landing you may notice it passing through the flaps. Another place you might see some air action is on the wingtips where vortices are generated as well. It isn't smoke.

The flaps are left extended (leading edge) mainly in the summer months at hot airports, so that the bleed air ducts in the leading edges dont get too hot and set off the bleed overheat msgs. you mainly see this on Airbuses

I have taken off from this airport as a passenger on small propeller driven aircraft as well as the Boeing 727 and that was before the airport was extended into the bay., those pilots do a great job landing and taking off from that airport.

Wow its crazy for me to even wrap my head around the fact that the runway used to be much shorter than it is now. Really takes great pilots to operate in and out from this airport daily.

Yes, it is something that is hardly done on Stx. This happened during the summer of last year and the maintenance was being done on the taxiway.

Well the last time I went st Thomas in the morning they block it off but in the afternoon they open it I don't understand the reason why they do that and I went to st Thomas again they was still fixing the Taki way

The cool and sad thing is i flown on the plane, but they did not allow me to sit in copilot seat😢 and another thing thanks for what you do i realy do appreciate it

Dang, sorry to hear that😔. From what I understand, if the flight is full then they might ask if anyone wants to sit in the copilot seat. Try asking about the opportunity the next time you fly. This video was recorded last year in June (have a lot of unedited videos that need to be published) however I just came from STT on Tuesday. The taxiway is still being worked on over there which is unbelievable as you say.
