Strap is for the seat when you flip it up. I just got one yesterday on sale at tractor supply 800$$ off. 60 inches is way overkill for me, but every 54 inch was 3k$$ more in price from the dealers!

I know it uses pre mix for fuel. What about the engine itself? I don't see any anywhere to put oil in.

@@mr.zesozadfrack7790 This is a 2 Stroke so it doesn’t have oil like four stroke. Just the oil gas mix.

Just used mine. It did the job. 62 cc. I’m gonna mess with the carb to see if I can get more rpm’s. Did pretty good stock.

Thank you so much sir just know that you saved me jeep shutoff driving my wire harness going to coil actually came lose an disconnect reconnected an it started right up i should checked there first but i thought it was fuel so checked fuel pump fuses an other Harnesses i recently just changed cap rotor an plugs an wires so i knew wasnt that glad i clicked on this video ! 👍🏻

Has anyone successfully twisted that connection off without damaging it? I twisted it until it wouldn’t turn anymore and it still won’t come off.

@@weights_and_plates I have no idea! That thing is a real pain. I tried to remove it the way it was supposed to and just couldn’t do it. The old pry bar trick works pretty well. I hate doing that because it can damage something else. I hate making work for myself. Good luck this your truck

After you changed oil, the generator engine does not sound right at all...stuttering like that sounds like not getting proper gas pressure or flow. You need to check the valve clearance after a hundred hours too. When I checked ours at 140 hrs they were way off.

Sensor above the filter is oil pressure. If it shuts down for low oil pressure and there is oil in it you can pull one of those wires and run it till it seizes or you replace the bad sensor. If you crank it up and remove the oil fill cap and it blows oil out the top you have oil pressure and it’s most likely a bad oil pressure sensor. The sensor is a normally closed switch that opens at 10 psi. So if you pull one of the wires off you open the circuit and it thinks it has pressure. Good tip for an emergency.

They don’t quite hold 2 quarts. Usually have about 200mL left in the second bottle.

I usually run them for about 10 minutes before I drain em. And I use a tire inflator with a pool float attachment and shove it in the dip stick tube. Keep the oil fill cap on and open the drain then turn on the tire inflator and push all the oil out. Takes about 30 seconds to blow the oil out.

Gap spark plugs to .020”. Factory says larger gap but I’ve found they run better at .020.

I got the same one almost 3 yrs ago and it is absolutely amazing!!! Like you I did replace the carb same issue since doing it man it runs fantastic. I only use non ethanol fuel and echo Red Armor oil and mix it at around 38:1 to 40:1. You're right for the price you can't go wrong. This thing has amazing blowing power. I use mine all year round. As I said I got mine 3 yrs ago and it's still a beast with non issues

Do you turn the choke down once it’s running? Mine says on is on the bottom then off and choke on the top. So I choke it then pull. Then flip switch down to on? It seems like it powers up more when I turn the switch down as well.

50-1 I use Lucas 2 stroke oil. One big thing I do is run it out of fuel if it’s not going to be used for a while.

Hell my echo pb770 is almost $800 out the door. I'm sick of it. I have to have heavy duty equipment. But I'm thinking hell even if i have to buy 3 of these I'm still$500 cheaper than the big name ones

I used to run Echo for everything then started have idle and wide open throttle issues. The knock of isn’t perfect but it does a hell of a good job for the price.
