If one is pulling cooler air from the basement upward there's no need to worry about the humidity that comes with it. That air begins the evaporation process the instant it hit the blowing air. I'm not even a plumber. I'm a brain surgeon... Just kidding. This is a very good video.

Does it use much energy if you are just using the fan all time with out heating/cooling ? It gets pretty cold at night by the river where i live and i open windows during the night and close them in the morning. Then i just use the FAN ON without AC in the summer.

How does the fan turn on automatically? I am sick and I want to have my room cold so I want to open my window but don’t want to cost my mom money. Does the intake suck the cold air and let’s the heating and cooling know it needs to be turned on? Or should I just close all my vents?

its metal. you cant heat and cool it 20,000 times and not expect a result. not every failure can be tracked down to poor maintenance and design.
@asbestosfibers13257 ай бұрын
all whisper heats fail. that is a design issue. all pulse fail, that is a material issue. yours could have failed due to neither of these reasons. just my 2 cents.

also those old bryant 90s had an issue with the factory coating on the secondary delaminating. this is a serious fire hazard as i have seen it burn a house down and nearly burn down several others. changing your filter wont help that.

In your example does elements go on 1,4then they go off and 2,5 on then off when that goes off 3,6 come on? If that happened then the furnace would have on two (e.g. 5kw elements on a any time and hardly it’s max btu. A second possibility is that 1,4 come on (remember 2 sequencers linked) then 2,5 are added if the house is cold then 3,6 are added if the house is still cold. In effect, the last point is all 6 elements on and all (e.g. 90,000 btu) being used at one time? Not sure why sequencers have on and off times on top of that. I am confused 😊

Here's the elephant in the room: if you have a 2000 square feet house and plan on adding a small addition bringing it up to 2600-2800 square feet, does buying a larger 3 ton compressor until the addition have any down sides to it?

Thank you for the tips. I have turned my machine off, and I will go to sleep, and hopefully it will have all melted by tomorrow morning. I am one of those people that like to live in a freezer, therefore, I usually have my unit running at 16°. I guess I know now to keep it at 20°. Hopefully that’s the only issue, and that it’s not an issue with the Freon that you mentioned, in which I would need to call a professional to come help me out with that matter. I appreciate the clear, concise, straight to the point video that you have provided, and I will provide feedback as to whether or not, it was a success for me. Thank you.

Hi pls can you help me I have carrier noes 100 The machine does not cool down, and after it rotates for about half an hour, it turns off by itself, and this process is repeated until I turn it off, and yet it starts spraying water inside the cabin from the cooling fans. The gas compressor is present and the sprayer is new, including the soap dispenser.... What can I do in your opinion?

It is normal to have water dripping onto your filter? Brand new unit or 6 months old, they blew out the condensation line, what could it be and should I worry? They told me some water is normal but I feel like I might have mold if it continues. Thanks for any ideas.

Thanks for the tips. I was having a lot of issues with my old coil freezing. Turns out I had some airflow issues. One of the returns was blocked during previous renovation work.. My fan speed was set to low. The old A/C unit blows ice cold after fixing these issues.. I have a feeling coughing up cash for a new one would have run into the same issues soon enough.

Such a shame they design this junk to just barely be good enough verses just making a heat exchanger that doesn't crack. They do this under the perception that this is a very hard thing to achieve when its not even close to that.
@bobbybarnes1652 Жыл бұрын
"... verses just making a heat exchanger that doesn't crack." If you do not properly maintain your furnace (e.g., cleaning burner tubes, changing the furnace filter regularly, etc.), the HX will eventually develop cracks. You can't get around poor/no PM.
@petebusch9069 Жыл бұрын
@@bobbybarnes1652 True but assuming the maintenance is performed then this should never be a problem but someone decided the world would be better off with a marketing department that sits right next to the engineering department having them design junk so they don't have to work hard selling new furnaces.
@bobbybarnes1652 Жыл бұрын
@@petebusch9069 I've worked in automobile manufacturing (HVAC supplier) for 35+ years. We don't design things to fail so that we can sell you a new one. When your products have poor designs, words gets around and folks stop buying your products. That results in fewer sales, not more.
@petebusch9069 Жыл бұрын
@@bobbybarnes1652 That used to be the case but now that everyone is programmed to accept junk because there is no alternative resulting in everything built as cheaply as possible but will last around as long as the competition. Its all the same junk and anyone not living under a rock knows that. Prove me wrong, build a forced air furnace that will actually last 50 years so I can avoid the install cost every 10 years. I would also like it to be serviceable including a simple way to pop in a new heat exchanger and parts that don't become obsolete in 5 years. As a consumer I'm tired of having to constantly buy new verses servicing a quality product.
