I have this condition and I first noticed as a teenager that my dad had this too. I get short of breath often but never linked it to this deformity til I was an adult. I never had a doctor mention I had it but I researched it myself and was like viola that’s what it is! I’m 66 yrs old now so I don’t know if it’s too late to do anything about it now. I also get pneumonia a lot but don’t know if it’s from the compressed lungs from this or from a genetic condition I found out I had last year called alpha one. I have a visit with my pulmonologist in a few days so hopefully I’ll get some answers then.
@melissasolbsАй бұрын
It's a lot more common than you think! I hope your pulmonologist is able to give you some answers! 🤍

Didn’t see it in ur video 😢that’s why I asked. What do you love most about it and do you think guys can get it too or it’s too girly for guys?
@ToniTonyTone1113 ай бұрын
@@Inrussian In a modern society piercings of any kind are not "girly" as both genders pierce whatever they want. However, be aware that in some professional settings certain piercings might not get you a job. Also, if you are a baptized member of a religious group you should consult with your religious leader because some religions prohibit piercings for both genders an example would be the 7th Day Adventists.

Yes I clean all my brushes the same no matter if they are morphe, seint, tarte etc!! Typically I will spot clean with a dry brush cleanser every 1-2 weeks and I deep clean them like this usually 1-2x a month! The application is soooo much better with clean brushes 👏🏼 I've heard such good things about merit products I've been wanting to them out 👀 Do you have any good recommendations??

try using an oil based cleanser on dry skin, it will take off more makeup that way you dont have to rub your skin with a towel, then wash it off after

There’s something I’m wondering about. I tuck everything for physical and emotional comfort. I can’t find the channel again but a girl in a video had hers tucked in and said, Yeah she looks cute. Looks like you could have worn a small in the pants and still not been too tight. I am generally a small tall in all scrub brands, it’s the tops that I’m in between a small and med due to having a larger bust, so I had to order both small and medium, we will see which one fits best! So many reviews, and girls I see at work, wearing skin tight scrubs. I like my scrubs to be more fitted, but think nursing is not the place for super tight clothing.

@unlimitedkeayes3 жыл бұрын
Your video is great! I found out I had asymmetrical pectus excavatum when I was 11 (almost 18 years ago now! and I would scour the internet trying to find people like me!) So your video is amazing. I went on to have the Nuss (16) and Ravitch (20) surgeries for my own personal mental health and wellbeing and I am very grateful that I did personally as it was life changing. I am not sure where my mental health would be having not had surgery, I try to champion as much as I can for those dealing with Pectus to get help with their mental wellbeing as, as well as physical symptoms, it is so important and like you say there are hardly any women with it and even less online talking about it. A couple years ago I found a few FB groups for those with Pectus and it made me so happy, I am so happy that people are FINALLY! talking about Pectus, I found out about mine when there was nothing online. From what I know Pectus can be genetic, I just found out a younger cousin has just been diagnosed with Pectus Carinatum. And one of my worries if pregnancy with it (since mine wasn't a simple Nuss fix and passing it on to my children which I would hate to do) Glad your surgery went so well and you are doing great still.
@melissasolbs3 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for sharing! As tough as the surgeries are, they are SO worth it! I wanted to make this video for my younger self as well since I was in the same boat back in 2013 when there were little resources! I also have heard from some providers it is genetic and other it is not. I did not have any relatives with pectus either (I still do not)! I totally agree it is scary to think of the future and having children but at least with advancing medicine we can hope there are more options in the future! 🤍
