Your rubato is amazing! It's like uou gave it its own fun and fast font. And it feels alive as you preform it.

I'm a 10th grader in high-school, and I'm learning this for a competition that'll be held in less than a week, and your video has been really helpful! I'm almost finished learning it, and I'm gonna try to do my shaping the way you did because it sounds really cool.

Merci! (Original Text:) Hi, if you don't mind me asking, what mallets were you using for this recording? I'm performing this piece for a competition and I've had a lot of trouble finding good mallets for the whole range. Sorry for the rough translation, GoogleTranslate is all I've got. Thanks!

For this recording I used the Vic Firth Robert Van Sice m113 because the impact was very audible and hard with the close captation of the microphone. In a concert room I would probably go for a bit more harder stick like the m114. These are great! Have fun my friend with this cool piece! :)
