Wow, your shots make it look a lot scarier than it feels in real life. A little crazy to do it as a first hike ever, though! Nice job.

It’s more beautiful than I imagined. I’ve been watching a few of your videos and am so impressed. You go amazing paces and chronicle it so well. And unlike a lot of others, the length of your videos is not endlessly long with lots of talking. Great job!

Thank you so much. That means a lot. I’m so glad you enjoyed the video. I’m a pretty boring commentator so I try not to bore my audience lol, but I try to share as much of the beauty and cool stuff we see in the trails. Hope you’ll keep on watching .

Very artfully filmed. It’s amazing to me that these ruins are there and not protected the way the national monuments are. How are you not scared walking on cliff edges? That holds me back from a lot of the hikes I would like to do.

😊❤️ thank you. I guess it helps that these ruins are in a very remote location which makes it difficult to get to. Unfortunately there are still people that find there way to ruin these historic sites. It would be nice to see them more protected though.

We said we would give it one more try and if the water is brown again , we’re just done trying. Hopefully third time is a charm. Lol . The good thing is you can see the color of the water before making that long trek.

We heard in April or October was a good time, we have gone both times and been unsuccessful. It really just depends on the rain. We are going to try one more time, but if the water is brown again we’re done trying lol. The good thing is you can see the color of the water before deciding to make the long trek down.

So you must have carried enough water to not have to filter since you didn’t make it to the bottom? What kind of cliff exposure is there since you mentioned you don’t recommend this for someone scared of heights?
@haac_hikingandadventurechicks
@haac_hikingandadventurechicks Жыл бұрын
Yes, we had plenty of water with us. There are several parts of the trail where you are walking along the cliff and the cliff exposure varies. But there are some parts with some pretty big drops. I guess it really depends on your level of comfort. But it can definitely be a challenge for anyone with even the slightest fear of heights.
