I was trying to do the rando without GoA, but when I selected a weapon in the Station of Awakening, it sent me to the Garden of Assemblage. This pretty much softlocks me, since I can't access my items or abilities, I'm still level 1 and I'm stuck with just a Struggle weapon. How did it work for you?

okay but how can you actually do this without GOA? Even when I disable it I get teleported and softlocked to GOA

I think other than DDD, KH2 has the easiest Ultima weapon to obtain.

The best spot for the mushroom GOOOOOOO is the ship deck in neverland they will give you a goo at like 13 hits (i forget exactly) but since you can fly in that world its quite easy and theres FOUR of them in each spawn.

Theyre called "gigas" because its latin and Nomura is obessed with new testament era Roman everything including latin.

Starting at lvl1 destiny islands all the way to obtaining ultima in one single night is VERY impressive. Kh1 ultima requires BY FAR the most grinding out of the main titles.

Kh1 ultima is a VERY close second best looking of the series with kh3 being #1. But i think most would agree kh2 ultima is borderline ugly compared to all the rest.

Dude, I swear I’m having to grind as hard for one synthesis item in kh1 as I do for ultima weapon in kh2. It’s taken me weeks (granted I don’t get much time to play the game) and I still have 8 synthesis items to go.

That was quite a journey. It kind of makes me wish for a more "normal" randomizer, though - GoA is great, but I think a randomizer made for the intended story order where your options are more limited could be very interesting.

KH2 is the one game that I won’t get bored of no matter how much I play it. The combat is incredibly fun and the story is really engaging.

Usually the phil crash happens because Phil doesn't spawn in. But I think your crash was a RAM limit issue. Which can't be fixed because KH2 will never use 64 bit.

2:07 from my own older rando seeds i love pete so much in rando the fact that there's like, 3 or 4? version of Pete including the Past one means he has a good amount of chances to appear somewhere really funny like the Sephiroth fight or Axel 1
