Why did Arima kill himself right front of Kaneki? I wanted Kaneki to show him torment beyond hell for all the s**t he put him through for the past 3 or 4 years. Killing him, mutilating him, locking him in prison which drove him insane, lying to him that his friends, including the girl he loves Touka, are all dead and planting fake memories so he can serve the Doves

The character "Kishou Arima" from the popular manga "Tokyo Ghoul" and "Tokyo Ghoul: Re" is a half ghoul half human hybrid that doesn't possess a kagune or kakugan, referred to as a "Half-Human" and instead has above average strength and speed. The downside of being a "Half-Human" is accelerated aging. "Kishou Arima" was very close to the end of his lifespan due to this accelerated aging, he had already developed glaucoma making him partially blind. "Kishou Arima" was going to die soon after this fight regardless of if he won or not.

Someone doesn't read the manga here, Kaneki looked up to srima as an elder man and arima was a father figure for him. Arima was just looking for an successor that would surpass him so he saw a great potential in ken which resulted him to doing all of those things to tighten ken up.

Most of these were pretty rough, I think they should’ve left the car cleaning scene and the Go Bot reference scene in, otherwise they made good choices on what to cut.

well damn that was pretty bad. Can see why most of these were cut. That kitchen appliance scene was awful and unfunny. The scene in RotF where a shard of the Allspark does the same thing to the Witwicky kitchen was vastly superior. The intro scene with Bee on the run was alright though the cool voice totally doesn't fit with the idiot portrayal of Bee later in the movie who acts like a puppy and moron.

I think the shatter and Dropkick one was okay, they learn more of humanity's weaponry as a sort of threat assessment, while also learning how cruel humans can be to ourselves, to their amusement

It was cut because the film was going to be a canon prequel to the original movieverse leading into the 2007 film. But then the decision to make it a new universe got made so the scene got deleted. But if it the prequel plan was kept then yes it would have played out like that
