Hi Guys, great video, and I see I'm the only one commenting because I was searching how to preserve corn for long term storage. I store all my food, beans, rice, etc in 5 or 7 mil mylar bags that easily go into a 5 gal ( FOOD GRADE ) bucket, along with a 2000cc oxygen absorber. I don't use anything other than Food Grade buckets, not Home Depot buckets, and I store on dry, dark environment. plastic is porous, so air will leak in over time, and subject to rodents chewing through the buckets. Glass containers may be the way to go, but not very good in transport. Thank you

I am no expert. But I would say any fumigation done is with ethyl formate. It is GRAS with USDA. Used with most fruit to ensure no pests.

Cold storage are quite feasible enough specifically when harvest time arrives. I adore this post for sharing the benefits of building a storage in your garden or farm. I commend that during harvesting, this outdoor storage are useful enough to maintain the quality of maximum plants
