I just finished my first round of ivf, my partner did all my injections. We ended up in a freeze all cycle due to my high levels. we've got this 💪also where did you get the book from?

I’m so proud of you! Things have taken a scary turn during pregnancy on 9/25 - I needed an emergency cerclage😢 because my cervix shortened. I’m 20w1d and just a nervous wreck trying to stay focused on the good. I am always keeping you in my prayers , and we are rooting for a successful first go❤

@@mylifeasnih 🥹🫶🏻 I’m so happy to hear my videos can help bring comfort! Congrats on your upcoming journey! I’ve seen more women use the auto injector for the PIO shots since those needles are longer. These needles are very small and really don’t take much to do at all! You got this!! 💕💕

I don’t know about in the US but in Canada those Gonal F pens are soooo expensive so my IVF nurse taught me a trick to ensure you’re using up every single drop of that pre-filled pen. Let’s say your dose is 250, but you only have 100 units left in your pen, you’ll set the pen to your usual 250 dose, you’ll inject, and then the window should say “150” which means that’s the amount that wasn’t injected. On a new (prepped) pen you’ll turn the dose to 150 and inject. Yes it’s double the needle poke, but you’re getting every drop; each pen also has about 100units of overfill so use it up!

I put the clonal F needles in the fridge but left them out on my next ivf rounds because I found when they were cold they stung a little, so definitely a good idea leaving them in the bathroom. You don't feel them going in thankfully, it's so thin and short.

Ask for suppositories for progestrone not progestrone in oil. Horrible i know, but insert rectally to avoid a bleed during pregnancy, something i learned

Depending on how the election goes and what not trump is for Ivf and it’s all supposed to be covered by insurance! Not sure on all the details of it but it would change the lives of so many that can’t afford it.

I started the IVF process in April. The first transfer failed and it was heartbreaking.. I’m currently 9 weeks pregnant after a successful second transfer 🥲 it really is such a journey. There’s so many ups and downs but it can make all the difference to let yourself enjoy the good parts no matter how small they may seem. Sending baby dust your way!! 🫶🏻

My dog died today, and I got the call to do our iui today, total surprise. We have 2 folicles, one 12mm and one 22. They said they might make us wait, but once we got home, they called and asked us to come in for the iui bc my body was naturally about to ovulate. I triggered and came on in... It's been a day.... I wish us luck, yall ❤ Imfo: First iui (praying its the only one), ttc 4 hears amd male imfertility issues.

I'm starting my IVF in October. I am so scared. It's starting to get real. I just got the email with all the medications already ordered and being delivered in 2 weeks. I have never injected myself...I'm so scared. Thank you for your videos as you are giving me many ideas for my journey. I wish I had a big enough bathroom to set up the station in mine. @@clarissamaldonado6944 the best advice I got for that was when I was doing my trigger shots. Put the needle on your skin first and the slowly push in. The needle will do the rest. And breathe through it. We got this! 💪 Sending you much love and luck on your journey! ❤️

Hi Tiffanie! I'm like you and always want to be 10 steps ahead on life lol. One recommendation I've seen from other IVF accounts is to make sure you check whether the meds you have need to be kept away from light. I never would have thought to check that so I was glad when I saw it recommended by someone else. Best of luck on your journey!

We went 3 years with unexplained infertility only to find out we had Male Factor Infertility and IVF would be our only way. I had 9 follicles, 7 retrieved, matured and fertilized, and 2 embryos made it to day 5. I did a fresh transfer and I’m currently 16 weeks pregnant and the other one is on ice. The process was super quick (Started meds May 23, Retrieved June 7 and and Transfered June 12). I didn’t have much trouble or symptoms or side effects with the medication (thank god) but it was 100% worth it. If you do it please consider doing ICSI versus traditional IVF to maximize your chances of egg fertilization! You’ve got this!

Also to add that for me personally I was terrified of the retrieval but the pain was equivalent to a Pap smear for me as they numbed me and I was on a pain medication during the process. Just pressure/uncomfortable but nothing as terrible as I had expected. Recovery was also fine for me, I drank lots of electrolytes and felt bloated for about 2 days but then felt back to normal. Transfer was slightly more painful with a quick pinch but lasted 2 minutes and then I was good to go for my 2WW! I built up IVF to be scary and daunting in my head but it turned out to be so much easier than I had ever imagined. I got in my own head and let my anxiety take over and I wish I hadn’t so I could have tried to enjoy the process. You are strong and through God you’re able to do anything!

I hate needles, but they're so tiny you really don't feel it at all, never minded the egg retrieval, always recovered really well, it was more the mental side of things, be kind to yourself x

If you decide to go for it look at getting yourself a shot blocker or buzzy bee to help you with the needle fears. It helps distract your brain.
