It seems like in this day and age an 800 sumo deadlift isn’t that impressive, even a 900 deadlift. Probably because it’s the easiest lift to progress and relies more on leverages than actual muscle contraction.

@@peytonjohnson866 not 800lb, that's stupid. But looking across a broad selection of lifters it consistently adds 10-15% onto a deadlift if you have the skeleton to sumo well. Meaning you likely have a conventional around d 750-770lb. Very impressive still but not 885lb... people pull sumo because for those that can do it well, it's easier.
