Where do you think the Denver housing market is headed? Declining home values? Steady? Increasing? Let me know what you think.

Why in gods name would you use marble in a kitchen…such a mess to maintain…don’t let these guys fool you!! It’s all about what they’re stuck with in the supply yard….

Never, never, NEVER use marble in the kitchen...Unless you plan on merely looking at it instead of cooking. Marble is simply way too porous for any kitchen applications.

Don't do marble in a kitchen, worst decision you'll ever make. It's beautiful, but the etching & staining will drive you crazy! It's too soft & porous for the business of a kitchen, so, unless you literally never use your kitchen counter tops, you'll regret putting marble in. Other places in your house however, it's amazing. if you really just can't live without marble, try to find a quality quartz, there are so many manufactures these days creating marble-like quartz that mimics the real thing pretty darn good. Open shelving, there will always be people who like open shelving, that's not going away any time soon. White kitchens, I love this issue about is it in, is it out. White kitchens will ALWAYS be IN. They're a timeless blank slate for whatever you want to do with your kitchen. They are every style, you can go as modern or as rustic or as cottage-y as you want & it never fails. You can change it up with little expense to make your kitchen look totally different. There's no end to a white kitchen, whatever your design style, you can't go wrong with white, it's literally a springboard to every design out there. Storage, I will agree that the more storage you can get in your kitchen, the better, but, not everyone has a kitchen the size of a small apartment, so, it's more important IMO, to have "smart" storage, rather than more storage, make everything work for your lifestyle, sometimes more storage just means more dust & cleaning. islands are wonderful if you have the space for them. Most people, more & more, are doing away with a "formal" way of eating AKA a separate dining space, because, let's face it, we sometimes never use our formal dining & everyone always ends up in the kitchen anyway, so island seating is becoming the most popular source of seating these days, esp with open concepts, I think it's always been the favorite, who doesn't want to watch Mom make cookies. I think a trend is what makes you happy.

I always ♥ the look of Calcutta Gold marble and now you can get that look in quartz.

I love my kitchen except for the marble. Marble stinks, it stains and etches I would never get it again. White cabinets are great! Stainless steel is a lot of work, looks nice but is very susceptible to drips and fingerprints. If you go white cabinets go with white appliances too, you won’t regret it!

I plan on doing the "non kitchen kitchen" with a galley sink.

My kitchen is going to be white, beige or some other very light warm color with wooden countertops. Marble feels and looks cold. I really don't like trends. I try to make my home look fresh and timeless and when people see it in 5-10 years not to know then it was build.

Hi John. Never advocate peel and stick. Downmarket rental trend. Landlady'snightmare. Akin to vinyl floors and countertops of yesteryear!!! Eeeeeeeeeek!

I really like the idea of a dining attachment to the Benchtop I’ve just checked out some great options on Pinterest. Helpful video thank you 😊

Building a house now. Keeping the white kitchen look because I can always change up colors with decor, paint, hardware, etc. Quartz countertops - white with gray veining. Went with a waterfall on both sides of the island and countertop to continue up the wall as the backsplash. Didn’t want grout lines...looks sleeker and easier to clean up. I like mixing metals in the kitchen and thinking about going for a composite sink after we move in. I like changing finishing touches instead of bold costly cabinets and such. We went for a kitchen where the island doesn’t have a sink or stovetop so that it is all usable space. Also allows for 3 oversized stools. Dream kitchen within our budget :)

That's a ten year old trend now. Pay closer attention to the Europeans.
