I actually like Nick Broomfield. Aileen’s was awesome. He’s just very real. He may be bland but that’s also what I like about him, he’s not all like WHOAAAA LOOK AT ME. he lets the characters shine themselves. He just missed the mark with this one I think.

Her "privacy" can eat a d**k. She's shady, her aspirations were shady, her "friends" are shady, the "scene" was shady, the timeline is shady, the funeral was shady, and her behaviour both before and post-Kurt's death was/is shady. All the physical evidence points to Cuntney being a ruthless, conniving, disingenuous diva, whom would have used any man to further her ambitions. "Become friends with Michael Stipe"?? How juvenile a thing, to even CONSIDER as a means to musical success. I had a contract from Phoenix Records for a "Spring Break Tour" at Lake Havasu in front of me at 16, and I was just a slightly above average guitarist, whom had an elite drummer as my best friend. Of ALL the schemes we pulled to make a name, "Becoming Friends with "X" Will Make Us Famous!", never crossed our minds. And these are the supposed "Seattle Elite", the "authentic rockers", the "90's avant guard".... What a f**king joke. Attention Wh*res + Drama Queens + alcohol/narcotics - Stir with Liberal Amounts of Media Attention. There. That's the synthesis of 90's Grunge. I've lived in Yelm and Tacoma, and made several passes through Aberdeen (It's a fishing town that despises it's connection to Kurt, and all citizens have agreed to pretend it's perpetually the 1960's. And it shows.) to see Kurt's childhood home (very sad), the tiny bridge where his first band "Anarchy" left some graffiti, and the (no longer existing) Medical Center, where Kurt would go sleep, in the waiting room, when his parents had their usual Friday Night Throwdown. There's no arguing that Kurt was clinically depressed, suffered from an anxiety *DISORDER*, and was horribly self-deprecating. Kurt felt many things, but the most frequent and inescapable was SHAME. How do I know what he felt? Because I've lived the same way, most of my life, 30 years of doctors, therapy, and medication, all because, to put it as simply as possible, my feelings are always dialed up to "11". While this makes you hypervigilant and even hyperactive for a time, eventually you're ground down to three feelings: sadness, anger, and perhaps most dangerous, indifference. There's a huuuuuge amount of guilt that comes with those diagnosis/ mental disease. You feel your "ill-made", that, "you are worthless" and ultimately, that "you are a burden to your loved ones, and things would be easier for them if I weren't around". America lashed out at Kurt, calling his death "an act of selfishness". I remember that douche-rag Rush Limbaugh talking sh*t I had to listen to, because of my Red State Parents (Yes, I'm glad the fat f**k is dead). Now that my mother has completely lost her short-term memory due to genetic mental illness and self-medicating, funny, he doesn't trear mental illness with quite the same cavalier attitude. He's had to live with a wife and son whom suffer from genetic mental illness, and now he understands why we sought self-medication, instead of writing his family off as "a couple dopeheads". Addiction is at a point now, I would be surprised to meet someone whom hasn't been effected by it, one way or another. We now know "addiction" is a BROAD term, that applies to food as much as drugs. If Kurt had died in the 2010's or 2020's, someone may have actually investigated his death correctly, by-the-book, instead of the super-easy "Depressed Rock Star Suic*de". I think about suic*de almost every day. That said, if I turn up dead tomorrow, I truly hope the police don't just take a few photos and say "case closed!" I'm sorry nobody took your stomach pain seriously, Kurt. I too live with it, vomiting bile randomly, with no medical explanation, even after both an upper and lower G.I. It's part of the mental illness, Brother. The anxiety disorder; I wish someone could've explained this to you, and got you on some anti-nausea meds like Zofram. I'm sorry for all the people in your life who used you, instead of protecting you. And just to lighten the mood, you had some great riffs, Brother, but truth is we BOTH could've used some, eh, professional guitar lessons, lol. Naw, I get it; there's a certain pride in being self-taught. I'm sure pride wasn't something you had in spades. Did all the compliments seem disingenuous to you, too?? I imagine so. How many trashed barflys told you "How awesome you were"? Slurring at you, "GrEaT sET MaAAaAN!!"?? Girls going to bed with you, "OMG, I went home with Kurt last night, he's SO sensitive!!"?? Yeah, that sh*t gets old, quick. Playing the same songs everynight gets monotonous. I think you knew fame was hollow, before you even fully got there. If you did choose to end things, I understand, and I forgive you, as I hope someone someday will forgive me. If your life was taken from you, at a time when you were most vulnerable and defenseless, may those responsible be cursed to live forever, and never know peaceful slumber nor eternal rest.

The documentary, despite not having the financing and being boycotted, seems excellent to me since it was the first to show the corners from where all that music, friends and those close to Kurt were born. He also planted the seed of doubt about an alleged murder today that is not at all far-fetched. I remember seeing it in those years and the suicide cover was even stronger. Today I allow myself to doubt since it is known that there were much greater interests. the money won..

Sorry but heroin addicts with money dont commit suicide. He was either murdered or he overdosed. No one gets high then kills themselves. Ask anyone' who's been a heroin user full time. Now if he was in withdrawal and had no money and was homeless rock bottom then yes. But he had millions of dollars. He would never have ran out of money. The drugs would have killed him before suicide

3:20 this is COMPLETELY WRONG. Kurt’s aunt was about to play a home recording that she had from when Kurt was a kid. She literally tells us that’s what she’s about to play…so how can you replace it with “any other song” without noting that it’s not the track the movie shows her playing…

This is one of few movies where I believed more in the conspiracy theory before I saw it rather than after. Its really ridiculous how unreliable all the conspiracy promoters are in this movie.

She killed Him and like Her ex mentioned She will pay. Too many malicious intentions to not notice the why's. I hope they reopen His case so that finally He gets justice. I'm starting to think there's black magic being done so that a dark cloud remains. Hopefully the truth will soon reveal itself.

Actually, one things that is extremely interesting about this documentary is that it shows El Duche speaking of CL offering him $50k to kill Kurt and it updates us a little ways in that he was found decapitated soon after their encounter. That right there makes it pretty damn interesting.

The most personal thing i took this month was someone saying this sound like the beastie boys and was a rip off sabotage-esque but that's the most superficial beastie boys everyone thinks about... Just a tiny portion knows their bossanova, trap, punk, instrumental, and BIG etc. They're bigger than that.

Last Days is a great film. Couldn't give two shots if wasn't how really was. That wasn't the point of the film. It's just a mediation on depression and death. This guy did a great video on how Kurt & Courtney is a shit movie, but his discussion of Last Days here is very ametrish and frankly laughable.
