She's not evil. This is a completely different interpretation of the characters and of Oz in general. You shouldn't go into this expecting the same vibes or character interpretations as the 1930's MGM Wizard of Oz movie. It uses a different interpretation of the oz lore. Its based on the 1990's Gregory Maguire novel with a more politically corrupt version of Oz that uses fear mongering and false narratives to keep the citizens in check. Neither Glinda or the "Wicked Witch" are evil. They're best friends (and depending on how much you read into the source material, also possibly kinda gay for each other) this trailer just showcases a lot of Glinda being the catty popular girl in the early parts of the story. She's not the bad guy either.
