Do you need a 3 pin ARGB header on your motherboard or is that just to control the leds from your pc because i dont have a 3 pin argb header and dont mind using the reset button

If you cap the frame rate using rivia statistic tuner you can get even lower power consumption and stable fps with better 1% and 0.1% lows. Cap triple a games at 60fps and esport games to 120-140 fps. Run medium to high settings since anything above it is not necessary unless its a really old game or easy game to run.

How do you get the motherboard to control the rgb? Despite being connected, only the case can control it

I have everything plugged up exactly like this. Tje fans spin but no rgb on any of the fans including cpu cooler tjat is hooked up to the hub. Is it possible that I just got a bad hub?

My cables qnd power cord are black with no HDMI cable is it fine?

Johnny, the 5500 is a 5600G with the graphics core disabled. It is not a 5600 which you should get if you use a dGPU.

I just did more or less the same thing. I would only add that my case had standoffs pre-installed for A and I had to change them to match my M MB.

im too scared ill break something...so ill just leave it to the professionals who build the pre-builts and if it doesnt work when i get it, ill return it and get my $$$ back

In you researching this chip did you happen to come across conformation that it has more pcie lanes (24 vs 16)then the g? there is mixed information about this chip everywhere and even amd's site does not list full specs on it for some reason. It does support more ram (128gb vs 64gb) then g I have found that out.

Normally I wouldn't consider a R5 8400F but the price in my country for it is just $117 while R5 7500F goes for $167 and R5 7600 goes for $200. 8400F is really tempting for that price. Those 8 PCIE lanes for GPU are concerning though.

After a lot of thinking i am not ready to buy a cpu without a igpu because i dont want to get rid of igpu for 35 mb cache that i wont even use. I have seen a lot of videos that shows the benefits of 35 mb cache in online shooting games but even with gt you are getting good enough fps and to be honest i dont really need more that 60-120 fps to play games. I play rpgs and strategies mostly so 60 fps is more than enough for me and that i gpu can come in handy when my gpu stops working.

Well, the price for Core i5-13400K is nearly $300 (OEM) and 330-350 (BOX) (in my country), whilst ryzen 5 8400f priced at $135-$140 (OEM) and 165-175 (BOX) So, in terms of price\perfomance - is it a quite not bad CPU?
