Other drone companies didn't have geofencing. Why now that DJI stopped enforcing them on their drones would all that happen?

I hear you, but maybe people won't let us down, and will obey the rules... And if they do, the FAA will take that Remote ID and do their job... Which is weird because the Flip I hear doesn't have remote ID.

I would never update, just because DJI will probably bring the geofence back. They are just responding to the US government banning them . Once the government comes to their senses again, they'll bring back Geo fencing.

@@BrooklynJimmie That camera is great! Sadly, they only took the nfz away from the US... The rest of us still have nfz's. But I'm 90% the geofencing will come back after the initial crazy is over. The US has been treating DJI quite badly considering there are way nicer options out there.

@RecoveryoneDrone Depends on who is using the tool I guess. Still have to obey the rules. For me though, I know that NFZ by me is just a residence. Still gotta be responsible enough to know stay away from prisons, military bases, etc. Like those responsible Autel pilots. HAPPY NEW YEAR! If I didn't say it yet on another post.

Its so annoying having all the stipulations on where you can and cant fly for entertainment. I get around airports but some of the warning zones and no fly zones dont make sense to me😂 just got a DJI Mini 4k for christmas and i was shocked that so many places were "off limits"

Nice one! I've always used vehicle lights without even considering the light painting. I might give it a try. It looks a bit more 'clean'. But then again, my eyes aint all that good 😂 All yhr best for 2025 mate 👍😃

I never take out my microSD cards. I'd connect my drone and RC to my PC. This way made it easy for me to edit with my phone.

That's a real shame, but it's also a challenge to find other spots to fly. America has always been much more free in the restricted zones than Europe, so it's probably not such a shame anymore.

You would have thought... But it goes out passed that. It indicated I was by the street on that map, but I was in the back yard. Either way, how it was before. If I was within 50-100ft radius of that building, my drone was stuck.

I don't have the Ace Pro 2, but from my understanding USB-C Microphones should be able to plug right into the Ace Pro 2 without the adapter. Not sure if they have brand limits though..

Unfortunately it won't. You need the mic adapter for the x3 and then that only takes the 3.5mm cables. The usb-c on the adapter is only for charging and it faces the wrong way so the receiver won't even fit if you try to plug it in. I tried plugging it directly in without the adapter, but it didn't do anything.
