Last time I did a group ride was in 03 in Fayettenam, NC. I was riding with my buddy Dickson when we got into a ride with like 10 other sportbikes riders. Well, after doing all the dumb shyte around town we got back to Skibo Dr when a cop pulled out and blocked our lane. the line of bikes started like 3-4 cars from the light and Dickson and I were at the back. I looked at him and said, "Yo, we gotta roll! We're in the Army!" He responded, "You go first." So I backpedaled the bike back a foot or two, spueaked it in between a car and truck and railed it out of there. Got to a gas station a few miles away, pulled in and started hitting my boy up. 45 mins later he gets back to me and tells me how after I got out, the guy behind us got out and as he went to roll the truck blocked the hole. He ended up with a rack of tickets like exhibition racing, reckless endangerment and some other stuff. Since then I ride with no more than about 3-4 riders. And they all have their licenses and insurances straight and ride cruisers haha! Keeps me in check on the Busa. :)

If it's a rubbing issue just dent the header a little it won't effect the flow that's been tested...just a quarter size dent will allow room for the filter

Sometimes I miss group rides but then I remember the unnecessary attention and consequences that come with. I did a big memorial ride and that was fun; one minor incident with vehicle but no serious injuries. I was in this cliche group on Facebook, went on a few rides with them. Lot of them were doing wheelies, things like that the first time so I just blew it off. Second time, same thing but with blocking traffic, running red lights so I just left the group and rode somewhere else. Following weeks, one had minor crash but uninjured, another sadly passed away in a solo crash. Several were complaining but the police harassing them and such on Facebook comments. I was already considering to leave the group itself but I guess me pointing out about them playing the fool on a bike is what is causing them to get unwanted attention from the police. Shortly after they “kicked” me out of the group page. Less than a year later, the page and group itself disbanded.

it's so impossible to coordinate these things to run smoothly. Maaaan, 14 years ago when we used to do these in Kansas City - we started with 10 -11 of us at nights, and it turned into hundreds. The KCPD used to get the helo's after us because of the city limit no chase policy. Sooooo we'd ride up to Mexico Ave, entire crew, where the airport is, and break away. Why the airport? No fly zone for the helo's and that's how we'd break up to get away the best we could. Great watching this, brought back memories.

The guy in the red claiming he was trying to slow down is the one who rear ended the other guy. The innocent guy who got rear ended by the guy at 8:50 had to go to the hospital because of him

Is this what a group ride looks like in the USA.. overload of testosterone, total disregard for any other road use or road regulation, and y’all wonder why someone’s on the asphalt. And you wonder why other vehicle drivers have zero respect for you. On a motor way no less.. that’s some sort of joy riding in a straight line.. thank you, but no thank you..

How is the R9 trash? You haven't rode on one yet it's full of tech and high torque. People need to stop talking our of ignorance. The R9 is bigger lighter and more torque.
@patrickstevens372114 күн бұрын
Sup bro. I mean I feel what your saying. But for someone like me...the R9 will be my first bike. I'm extremely excited about it. And yea I'm gonna snag the white one. I feel like if people don't like it then don't buy it lol. For people to just take a dump on it I feel is really not fair. There is always a bike out there for anyone that's why they make different bikes. I like how you just said it might not be for you. And that's completely ok. But for someone like me it is for me. Not really too fast but definitely not slow. I feel like I can learn alot on it and I'm excited. Definitely getting the white one lol. Later bro

Dawg the mto9 and the r9 is fast like ur beating most 600 up to 120 but then they gon reel u in. I’m upgrading from a 300 and considering it just because I think it will be really fun on the street and I want to start going to the track but I wish it went faster than 140 something ever since I hit 175 on my friends zx10 I’ve been wanting a liter bike
@patrickstevens372112 күн бұрын
@wassaabiwassaabi4819 sweet. When I snag mine I'm just gonna ride in rain mode for awhile until I get more comfortable. You should do it bro get one. Just be careful os all. And 175 is wild lol

The msf course is basically mandatory if your in most states in order to aquire the mc endorsement. I’m glad I spent the 300$ or so on my class back in 2018, been riding since and have accumulated over 50k miles on 2 wheels across probably 10 different motorcycles from a 125cc grom to a 1000cc cbr Honda.

MSF course was GREAT for me. Learning the friction zone was huge for me and ATGATT! There were some other things, but those were MY biggest takeaways. I bought a brand new Z900 in 2022. 14k+ miles later with zero issues.
