Its funny that Americans have been conditioned to believe that everywhere south of the US border is 3rd world or slightly above. Wrong. I lived in Mexico for 10 years. You can live the same way there as in the US. The world has changed and caught up with or even surpassed American standards in most ways. I am really looking at C.R. as a place to spend my life.

I've watched 2 of her videos; funny she does not discuss HEAVY RAINS (daily), Bridges washing out (no bridge for days, weeks, months in the midst of roads), POWER failures.....EXPENSIVE utilities (electric, hot water is very expensive depending on the home's heating tech); iffy internet (maybe Elon's satellite tech is useful); the lack of VARIETY of ALL kinds of shopping we take forgranted in 1st World Western Countries. Notice she does NOT mention regular trips to Panama (US Dollar, abundant shopping like in America in Albritton Mall, etc). None of the properties she shows are worth more than a few hundred thousand dollars. ALL of the multi million dollar listings are nonsensical to ever BUY. #insane

I know you filmed this some time ago, however this home is amazing. Costa Rica has some beautiful properties but they don't have ac usually or only in the bedrooms. What rooms do you have ac and has it affected your comfort not having ac? Also would love to see the renovations that were made to the house.

Escazu is the southern California of Costa Rica. Very rude people. I avoid like it was the bubonic plague. And MultiPlaza is NOT the only shopping mall in Costa Rica. There is City Mall in Alajuela (next to the airport), Paceo de las Flores in Heredia, Oxigeno in Heredia. and Lincoln Plaza in Moravia. Of all these MultiPlaza and Avenida de Escazu are the least desirable. And Price Smart (PSMT) and Costco (COST) are two distinctly separate corporations. However, Price Smart does buy some Kirkland product from Costco.
