Thanks Maggie for every song I request. The days with David went by to quick. Better times, people were different. Compassion seems to have disappeared. God ,I long for those days to come back. You can tell by the way he and Kaye looked at each other that they were very much in love. I read that even though she was an actress, she wasn't prepared for his level of fame. Fans threatened her. She never remarried. I imagine other men paled in comparison to being loved like that by someone like David. I'm happy for his success and that we all got the benefit of his talents, but I'm so sad for what fame cost him.

Such bittersweet memories. David hid his pain through his addiction. I also have a addiction to alcohol,it comes and goes.I so understand what he went through.It doesn't matter if you are famous or not. It's a horrible disease. You can have it all and it Will still get to you. But being in the limelight didn't help David either. Millions adored him,but he was so lonely. No privacy to speak of. Fans need to understand artist need their space. That's one reason the Beatles quit touring,and doing live concerts. With all the sadness in this world now a days it's a wonderful thing that we can look back at all that David left us to enjoy. Life is short,and even though I have nearly nothing,and homeless David still helps me make it through the day. Tha black and white photos of David and Susan are so beautiful ❤️.
