I don't think you can overestimate how important this victory was to Man Utd .( with NCs & Aston Villa's collapse it looked an easy title in the end) I returned 'home' for 2 weeks & saw this defeat ,a 5-1 loss at Spurs & 3-1 at Ipswich - had better weeks .!

Didn't know there was already talk about Cantona leaving. At the time, it seemed his retirement was sudden and 'Out-of-the-Blue'.

Ridiculous structure to the interview. Interrupting Sir Alex mid-sentence, when he's not even in the studio with them and probably 1-2 seconds behind them. Wanker behaviour.

One of Andy Cole’s lowest point in his Man United career and it affected his confidence into the next season. He did redeem himself in the later stages of his career. This time in 1995/96 and 1998/99, he scored vital goals which were title clinches which enabled United to reclaim the titles they lost in 1994/95 and 1997/98.

Football was just better then, more entertaining, quicker pace to judging by the eye test. And teams had different tactics & styles vs nowadays cult like dedication to passing out from the back - EVERY time.

Watching this today on its 25th anniversary and to think in a season of epic winning goals, the blunder at 1:42 could have ended up being our title-winning goal over Beckham's screamer and Cole's brilliant chip.
