@@Thecatherinealexandra I tried the mousse on Sunday and my hair feels so hard and rigid now. I haven't tried gel though because all I've come across in my country is waxxy

I have had mine 6 months I haven’t retwistes yet most are loc’ed a few aren’t. I play in my hair a lot. I notice the ones I dnt play with loc’d quickly the ones I play with need or seem to need a retwist. I dont know. They are pretty none the less but I’m trying to train myself to leave them alone. Will it hurt my locs if I don’t get them retwisted by a professional? I been maintaining them myself

I just finished my retwist using the doux crazy sexy curly and i loved the product on ny natural hair but i will say it is super sticky so im going to find another mousse to see if better...that honey is great on my hair but man sticky fingers 😢

Question. In ur early stages of growing ur locs did u not use clippers when u retwisted like how u didn't use them in this video

@@yugen.k.escobar45 I did! I no longer use them cause my hair is longer and now and has weight so the retwist stays in place without the clips.

Thanks for the amazing advice!❤ I currently have locs which are 2 yrs old but I’m thinking it’s best to comb them out as my density does not match the size of the parts, my hair has thinned so much with post partum shedding and continues to break😢. I think a fresh start is best and I’ll definitely incorporate your tips.

Heyy, I was told that by interlocking it will be more difficult (or impossible) to eventually comb the locs out in future, is this true?🥰

@@awathiaw03 I would think so, the interlocking basically creates a braid like knot in your loc. I can’t imagine that being easy to comb out!

Hair looks amazing. Side note: I don’t know if you’ve seen this before but it may be worth it for you to screen mirror to your tv to record your retwists. That way you get the view you need and also the content without having to change anything up too much.

I’m born and raised in the Bronx moved to Douglasville which is 30 mins from Atlanta about 4 years ago (retired). I literally came back from visiting NY. I like visiting NY now lol. Definitely cheaper for me saved a lot on car insurance lol 😅. I do miss the ease of just jumping on the train everywhere. I enjoy the High museum the first Friday of the month which is very nice (music and dancing) that’s my turnup lol, restaurants, wineries and just a nice private soft life. I stay away from the nightlife.

I am a Native born New Yorker from Brooklyn and it's so sad to me that native middle class New Yorkers cannot live comfortably ! 😤 That’s our home! Like what are they trying to do exactly ? Make New York a place only the rich and famous can reside ? Make it like Singapore? I'm so confused. I use loc n gel! I don’t style my hair often and I retwist every 4 weeks. Having a routine helps to prevent breakage and will keep locs from thinning 🫶🏾💫
