Let me remind people that Britain's main TV channel BBC One spent an hour building up to this press conference like they were building up to a major announcement from the Prime Minister. People have spent years asking "Has The World gone mad?" but I think the furore over this incident showed once and for all that the answer to that question is "YES!".

How can people be so stupid and fault finding? A hilarious scene that could have happened to anyone. Haha if his kids were abused they would not have come happily bounding into the room to see Daddy. The joy on that little girl's face and in her actions says it all. Turned into a hysterical internet moment that has brought laughter to thousands.

Alan Richman was a fabulous actor. My favorite was the Sheriff of Nottingham. I can’t remember the exact language he used he was ranting and raving and yelling out orders and ran out of things to say and shouted out and cancel Christmas. You know no one could articulate better than he.
