Dave where is the fuel filter on these engine 2.5l
@roberttaylor31575 күн бұрын
Similar operation I perform on my 2019 Colorado except I change the oil every 3K. I'm an old school guy. Also, when starting the engine after the oil change, I press the accelerator pedal to the floor and crank the engine for 10 seconds. The engine will not start ( called flood control) which will build oil pressure. Then release accelerator pedal and start the engine. Good job. I enjoy your videos.

I gotta get me a dog walking top water....do you ever watch Adub's channel? He fishes tournaments on Belews and posts videos of it. He's been catching them on the same top water lure

I own a 2019 Chevrolet Colorado with this same setup. Love the truck and just turned 40K. Recently changed rear pads and rotors. Tires are to be changed within the next month. Change the oil and filter every 3K. Only problem has been the windshield washer squirters needed replacing, Milage is 23 around town and 35 highway at 2K RPM. With 4:10 rear gears it revs up quickly, so you need to keep that in mind. Great review !

It was a pretty good summer. I'm excited about the water temps dropping for fall crappie fishing. Water down on my end is now into the high 70's.

I am surprised with the wheeling you do that you don't have rock sliders. That's one of the first 5 things I did with both my builds, and I have 2 more in front of me. All on your spotter I guess? Didn't help me though. LOL
@gingabred2898Ай бұрын
Just me or do the outside lane riders not like taking the proper line for cornering, but the inside lane guys did? (outside, inside, outside)
@DoingDaveStuffАй бұрын
They are taking the proper line. You don’t want too far inside when on the outside lane so that your body doesn’t cross the yellow

My pump doesn't make that noise either. Reading the comment below I'll check for power but I've tried to separate my connections and I'm not able to pull them apart as easily as you do...Did you separate them previously with more difficulty? I'd hate to make a greater problem....thanks for posting!

I like your approach and design and built 2 units - one for me and one for a friend who also saw the video. This makes refilling the axles/transfer case a much easier job. The once addition I made was to mill some slots equally around the bottom and top caps for the clamp to hold the legs in place. I found it a bit fidgety to try and equally space them.

Thank you so much! I was one that got stranded last week. Same symptoms, but I could not find any leak anywhere. (Started about 137K miles) I'm guessing the coolant was evaporating on the engine. Well, the engine finally overheated and shut down on the interstate last week. After it cooled down, I got some more coolant in it and started back up. When I was able to pull over somewhere safe, I popped the hood and coolant spraying from that valve like old faithful. Your 2015 2.5L regular maintenance videos have been such a huge help over the last few hours. This one being the biggest help!

Do you always use 5w20? Did you ever use 5w30? I bought a 21 and I know the manual calls for 0w20 but i don't know. Seems to thin to me. I was just wondering what is your experience on the oil viscosity or types of oil? Thanks 👍

Total restore would be great but if u need the vehicle soon thats probably out the question unless rich and can afford a great goup ofguys and gals to hire. So yeah 👍🏻 ur doing a hell of a job. I wish i had the motivation to get my 88.5 sammy going. What's bad it wouldn't taje a lot. Just my motivation in the trash at moment.dealing with my hardheaded children 24,19 has me drained. Trying to make sure they don't make the few mistakes i made or may have not made in my best interest. Life in general. Throws that curve everyime im thinking fast ball. Oh well it aint eating anything out there in yard its paid for so hopefully I'll get to it. Owned it 4,or 5 years and got new 235-75-15 mud tires, Toyota 3kcarb 2"greasable shackles. And nice radio and speakers in kick panels. Got few goodies been in building few years to put on it. Haven't drove it since deer season few years back except to move it around and start it up now then motor ran great just no power 1.3. frame was great body pretty decent need little love. Like put few thousand in it and few weeks solid plugging away. Maybe next month. Anway theys enough on my junk . Keep on keeping on. Love the channel cant wait check it all out. See you got a Colorado. Lol i to have 1 owner 08 4x4 z package it was my dad buddies hesold it to us 800$. With 130k on it. I ripped driver side leaf spring hanger off getting gravel and red dog for mine and pops road shouldn't tried haul that last scoop of red dog off hill probably pushing xlose to ton. Lol. Well id let maje some more great content instead of reading this book. StAy safe from ur ole hillbilly buddy.
