Wow, this video was not helpful at all, do you think you could’ve put that together any quicker on film. Zero help thanks for nothing.

Thanks for making this video!!! I appreciate you posting the code also!!! With a little tweaking , so far I managed to get 105 algorithms to play without the display or sound freezing up. All are correctly viewed on the display. Only using 87% of the program storage space and 40% of the dynamic memory. The encoder is a little temperamental. Sometimes it tracks well and sometimes it jumps ahead a few algorithms. It is on the breadboard. Maybe once I solder the connections it will be better. I noticed in the code you have the encoder button on pin one. I did not see any other reference to it in the code and it does not do anything when pushed except light up the RX light. Is the encoder push button supposed to do anything? Thanks again!!! .

Its helpfull that you describe what each part does as you disassemble. At some point, you have to know what each piece should do in order to diagnose why it's not doing it.

What's the thing that moves round at 16 seconds?
@DanielDupriest4 жыл бұрын
Every 30 seconds the pendulum gets a nudge from the weight to keep it moving. The part that does a 180 keeps the weight wheel ready until it's time for the next nudge.

Nice clock. Do you have some more info about the black graphite coated parts ? Really like the collor of it
@DanielDupriest4 жыл бұрын
I coated all the gears and rubbing parts with a graphite spray solvent. It goes on like spray paint but dries fairly evenly and in a thin layer.
